Rosen was an interesting and knowledgeable guide and driver. Lena, our guide in Macedonia, was enthusiastic and informative.
Skopje is an interesting city showing the difference of the modern buildings in the centre erected after the big earthquake 60 years ago against the older buildings which were left standing.
Mother Theresa's memorial house was an excellent tribute to her life.
The Bazaar was full of stalls and shops and the people were very friendly.

Excellent trip to Lovech and the surrounding natural areas around the town. This is a must do trip to see the natural beauty of Bulgaria. Dimitr was my tour guide and if you get him I can guarantee you are in for a good trip! Thank you for the wonderful adventure!

If you arrive in Sofia for a few days don't miss the opportunity to visit Plovdiv. The trip is about 2 hours, the van was comfortable and the driver serve as a tourist guide as well. She was professional and very knowledgeable about the history and traditions of Bulgaria. We spent a good time during the trip. Thanks Maria!

The highlight of our Bulgaria trip! We were worried about whether the experience would be worth it considering it is about 3h30 drive from Sofia (so 7h both ways), but it was absolutely incredible. The rocks/fortress are incredible but the best part is the view at the top of them, simply breathtaking! Pictures don't do it justice at all.

Our driver and guide Ventsislav was so great and accommodating, as well as knowledgeable. He knew a lot about the rocks, fortress and the good spots for pictures or interesting facts. The experience also felt very private in a way as you share it with a group of 5-7 people, so that's an added bonus.

We ended up visiting the Magura cave as the Venetsa Cave was closed, and it was very impressive and enjoyable. Absolutely no negatives about the day overall and well worth the time and money.

    10/10, absolutely recommend and a must-do!

What an amazing place to visit. Rich in history, culture and well preserved historic sites. Vibrant old town for shopping, dining, or just strolling around town. I only wish I stayed a couple nights to fully explore and enjoy this place.

Our guide Peter was excellent. He covered Bulgarian history, culture, architecture, and general facts. He paced his talk and his walking speed to our needs. He freely answered all of our questions and is generally just a nice guy.
    We recommend him highly.

Great tour and service for picking us up in the hotel lobby. Got great historical context and interesting conversations during the entire tour. Got a very good feeling on the history of Sofia and Bulgaria in general. English was great, very knowledgeable and polite, would definitely recommend.

Great way to spend a day from Sofia. The hotel pick up and drop off is very convenient. Driver was on time and both he and the tour guide were very patient and friendly. Tour itself was just okay, some interesting facts on Bulgarian and Serbian history but nothing you couldn’t find via Google. We visited the Medina archaeological site, Skull tower and Nis fortress in Serbia; however guide was unaware of the Nazi concentration camp site’s closing time so we missed visiting this site on the tour. He however chose a good spot for lunch opposite the Nis fortress and we returned to Sofia in good time. A long interesting day which could have been topped only by visiting all the promised sites within the package. Would however recommend.

This was the perfect tour for us because our guide Philip explained in detail all of the options at each location and we could pick and choose based on our interests. A long but very enjoyable day - lots of great memories! We could not have asked for a better guide or driver. 5 out of 5!

Very interesting and informative walking tour that hits all of the high (low?) lights of the communist era in Bulgaria. Our guide (Dino) was very personable and a native Bulgarian who could relate his personal experience.

I had originally signed up for the Rila Seven Lake Hike and Monastery tour but there was too much snow for the hike so switched to this tour instead. Phillip G. Was very helpful when communicating about this issue in advance. Boyana Church is a little gem…even if you have to pay 10lev on top of the tour price , only get ten minutes inside and can’t take pics. The frescoes are amazing.
Our Tourguide: Liubomir Petkashev was outstanding. I’m always impressed with guides who run the sane tour day in and day out who still manage to be enthusiastic and supportive.
The bus was comfy and the trip there went fast with the beautiful views of the countryside.
The Rila Mountain region is stunning and the Monastery is definitely worth the trip. We also had the option of joining the St. Ivan cave tour group (again for an extra 10lev) but I would say go for it if you don’t mind a 15 minute uphill hike there.
Really glad I booked this day trip from Sofia.
