What travellers are saying
- Jessica W13 contributionsIt was so relaxing and cool to see all the critters skittering around the ground. It was also a really good break between our hotel and the waterfront area of Managua.Written 3 April 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TiffanyManagua, Nicaragua71 contributionsThis park is located in the city of Managua. It is tucked away in the city, but it is really so beautiful!
This park is well-guarded and is fairly quiet and well taken care of. The security guards and the landscapers were fairly friendly as we chatted with a few of them. This park is very safe and is a good option for children. There are numerous playground areas for kids in the park.
We went on a weekday, and there were only a few locals there. If you are looking for a place to relax and just take a stroll, this is a great place. It is relaxing, safe, and well-kept.Written 23 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is a small grotto, some statues, beautifully maintained shrubs and trees. We briefly rested here and took some pictures.Written 6 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- drogilmourGuatemala City, Guatemala2,709 contributionsThe Xiloá Lagoon is located about 20 kilometers north of the city of Managua and can be reached by the new road to León. This body of water is popular as a recreation site for people living in the area. In addition, there is some tourist infrastructure in the place; Several activities can be done in its surroundings.
Xiloa is a nice place to swim as its waters are easily accessible and its wide coast also offers a good opportunity to take sunbaths. Occasionally, groups of swimmers organize competitions here, and the wind also gives opportunity to practice other sports like windsurfing. There is a government run facility nearby with lots of pic-nic sites and the largest beach in the lagoon.Written 15 April 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We were there on a weekday and around noon so no children and adults were noted during our visit: It could be crowded on weekends.Written 6 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
