Wonderful and long walk along the Causeway. The Panama City skyline is beautiful to see and you can stop at the Bio Museo as an outing. We walked one way and had lunch.

We walked la Avenida on the way from dinner at Hacienda Real. Lovely view at night. We stayed at the Bay View with a fantastic view of Balboa daily!

A nice walkway around the Old Town with great views over the modern city. One or two shops, not a lot else but the views.

Great story about keeping the gold from the pirates. Lots of versions and all are interesting even though none ste avtually proven.

The best part is the massive nativity village in the back. Well worth a visit.

In the center of the plaza is a monument to the Venezuelan general Simon Bolivar, also known as the "Liberator of Latin America," with decorative friezes marking events of his life and an Andean condor perched above him.

Located at the charming Plaza Bolivar. Must history in this building including the 1826 congress organized by Simon Bolivar to discuss unification of Colombia, Mexico and Central America. Unfortunately, it was closed because of Covis when I visited in October 2021

There's always something happening here and the square is surrounded by important landmarks, so it's worth a visit.

Grove over the bridge leaving town and returning. Nice view of the locks at a distance. Lots of traffic, depending on the time of day.

Went here in November 2022 with a friend. We enjoyed this plaza, was pretty and surrounded by Casco Viejo. The Panama Canal Museum, the Cathedral and a small museum on the history of Panama. Could easily sit for a while and people watch as well.

I'm not generally a fan of touring cathedrals, but I was taken to this cathedral as part of a Spanish lesson. You must ask permission to go into the back room where the diorama is kept. It' s a large display about the various stories in the life of Christ. If you are already in Casco Viejo, this display is worth a look, and it's totally free.

The temple is worth a quick visit, beautiful external structure (although some paint is required for enhancing its beauty). Don't be shy or ashamed to go inside, just make sure you leave your shoes/slippers outside. Take the time to watch at the deities exhibited. Take a walk all around the external part of the building.

Not a big place. You can find exhibits from traditional clothings for women and men here. Also traditional wedding dresses and the prices of these traditional clothes are more expensive than I expected. There are also some accessories on display. Nothing much else here so visit only if you have the time.

Really thought the front facade was well done. Easy to stare at for a while. Simple but engaging. Stop and look ...
