What travellers are saying
- gatormotherof2Washington DC, DC404 contributionsSince I was staying in Casco Viejo, it was a logical stop along the way one day. The interiors are far more attractive than that of the exterior, so don’t let the outside fool you.Written 19 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LandogLa Center, WA148 contributionsCool piece of history for the Panamanian community. Right in the middle of old town Panama City. The ruins of an old church.Written 7 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- CharlieinTexasAustin, TX3,819 contributionsSome walking tours begin here. Nice area. Easy to find as a meeting place. One of many nice squares in Cosco ViejoWritten 26 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- TravelingSoccerLoonSaint Paul, MN2,446 contributionsVisited here as part of my self-guided walking tour of Casco Viejo. Built in 1760, Casa Gongora is the best example of a Spanish colonial home in Casco Viejo. It is now a cultural center for local artists.Written 19 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Frank DSlidell, LA1,310 contributionsIn Casco Viejo (the old city) this is one of a number of places - especially churches, you will surely want to visit.
The beautiful little park surrounding Iglesia Santa Ana dates to the 1890s and is a spot where locals come to relax.
The lovely church was originally built in 1764, then destroyed by fire and rebuilt in 1864 and renovated in the 1900s.Written 27 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. While Delta, America, and drum role please United by far the worst domestic carrier in the U.S, Copa’s service is first class. From their in flight service meal, that’s right a meal for everyone not just for first class and I mean no pretzels or cookies here, to the gate agents and customer support on the phone it is such a refreshing feeling remembering how air travel used to be back in the day for airlines in the land of milk and honey. I highly recommend if you are going to take a vacation overseas check out Copa Airlines and compared them to our U.S carriers I’ll promise you you’ll be pleasantly surprised.Written 17 December 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
