The Panaviera bar is located in the ocean sun casino within the former trump tower. You can get a Uber here (Put in Panavierq bar, Ocean sun casino OR JW marriot) very easily from any part of the city. We weren’t charged a cover charge when we went up at approximately 6pm on a wednesday. You go in through the ocean sun casino entrance, find the elevator which should automatically take you up to level 66.

The views are the real reason for coming.

We had a couple of entrees to snack on (Pulled pork burgers and ceviche) and both were pretty good. Extensive drinks list particularly the cocktails which were tasty.

Despite the ridiculously good views they didn’t seem to price gouge us too much which was appreciated.

    Service was pretty good.

Would definitely recommend - if you’re tight for money you can always just have a couple of drinks and leave.

Opens 5pm! Consider coming for sunset as it’s interesting to see Panama City change from day to night.

Stopped in a couple of times. Afternoons were very empty - in fact there was NO ONE there twice in the afternoons when I went. Table games closed and only had slots. On Sat. evening there were more people in the place but not too many. The casino is spacious and clean. I am not a slot fan but there was a very good assortment there. Overall even when it had people inside there was no real vibe to the place. Was very quiet with no excitement. Was staying at the JW so it was just a few steps away for me.

Relatively quiet casino. Lots of slush machines, which seems to be about 5% occupied. Black Jack $5 minimum. Roulette too. Don’t recall seeing an active craps table. 7% or so cash service charge is a rip off in my opinion.

Having two Bingo places so close to each other, we were able to visit both of them & even played Bingo at Bingo 90 too but by far Sortis is better (a little upper class).

This casino is located on the bottom two floors of the Hilton Panama City. There are a few of the staff members who are very nice and accommodating, but most are not. The patrons can be sketchy and try to scam you so be cautious. You should be able to outsmart them though, as most of the locals not exactly the brightest. As far as the patrons and people go, remember, the only reason for all the money circulating in Panama is because of United States. We basically gave them the canal via treaty in 1999. However, on a more positive note the casino is nicely appointed and clean for the most part. There are several games to play and multiple penny slots if you’re not a serious gambler. The casino is open 24 hours which is a nice touch, especially if you’re staying at that Hilton. Another downfall is that there is only one bar and it is located on the second floor way in the back. Overall though, it’s worth betting a few dollars and socializing while checking out the place.

Since this casino seemed to be frequented by novice players like me, it is preferable for newbies to try out their luck and skill. I was offered a free drink here by another player.

Regular blackjack available but you have to ask. The “normal” blackjack they play is a joke and tilted to 75% odds in the casinos favor. But other games etc were not bad. Small casino and slots I never won a spin???

The automated machines here were not so fast and the keys were not working properly. Also, the interiors of the place were not properly cleaned.

5$ blackjack when they have enough dealers. Not usually very busy. They use an auto shuffler. Overall not bad.

Originally thought it was in the HARD ROCK. Not the case, its across the street in a mall. Hard Rock gives you player coupons when you check in, Match play mostly. And a free drink. Finding someone to give you that drink is a different story. Quite small, two levels. Completely lifeless dealers. A few new slots but mostly 4-5 year old stuff. Spend the Hard Rock coupons and get out. The mall thats attached gives you better shopping odds.
Don't put a bunch of your cash out front in chips. When you redeem you get knocked a 5% tax, even on principal.
