    Interesting film-well worth watching.
Good to experience a ship passing through the canal.
Commentator did a good job narrating as ship passed through.

The metro is the most cost-effective and efficient mode of transportation available in Panama City.

The trains are frequent, clean, and on time.

the system is a little crowded during rush hour as everyone ones to use it.

Worth a visit prior to your actual tour. Geo- political- historical- anthropological walk through time. Nice to know the non - USA views locally.
I only wish there was more English language explanation of displays.
    Good exhibits.
    Seems uninteresting at some stages.
Can take photos and videos, without flashes.

Well laid out (if not brilliantly signposted) interesting interactive displays, helpful staff. The young woman in the cafe was doing a sterling job on her own serving a huge queue and with a smile.
Very informative. The gardens are lovely with much birdlife around the lily ponds.

A really big and nice mall. Be sure to mark where you entered from as it is possible to get lost lol.

It has a wide variety of stores with literally all your needs from shoes, to clothes, accessories, household appliances, groceries, food, you name it.

My only wish would have been to encounter more folks/store clerks who knew a bit of English. Otherwise shopping here was good.

An enormous mall with over 700 stores. Last stop on the subway line . Study the mall web site before you go to orient yourself. No physical maps that I am aware of but info desks in the mall have cell phone scannable info image link

An interesting church whose main feature is the remarkable Golden Altar. If you come around Christmastime, you can also see an altogether the most incredible Nativity display.

We were walking through the square and saw people standing outside so we walked over. There were other people standing in the square offering to be a tour guide that you could hire, but we did not, so I can not comment on that. The location is no cost to visit, but there are donation boxes if you feel you would like to leave anything. The location is beautiful with air conditioning to refresh yourself from the heat outside. There are displays which describe specific key moments. It was an accidental stop, but we were glad we ended up here since we wouldn’t have gone all the way here only for this. It was about a 10 to 15 minute visit, but very impressive.

Ruins of the original settlement near Panama City destroyed by the pirate Henry Morgan in the 1600's. Nice strolling amongst the ruins and climbing to the top of the church tower. Museum was closed due to Covid when I visited. Allow 1-2 hr for the visit. If you're short on time, Casco Viejo, Miraflores Locks and a trip to Monkey Island on Gatun lake should all be a priority over a visit here. $15 entrance fee.

An atmospheric church with many interesting details, not least the narrow wooden support columns. One of the can't-miss churches in Casco Viejo.

This is a free fun museum that will only take about 30 to 60 mins. It's small. But it is very good. Very detailed explanation about the Mola culture in Panama.

Beautiful building located in Casco Viejo. Only viewed from the outside but I suspect seeing a performance here would be amazing.

This is a wonderful art gallery/ museum. Carlos was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He told us many things about Panamanian art, artists and history in a very relaxed manner. This is a place were you can relax and enjoy many types of artwork in addition to paintings there are also sculptures, carvings and textiles. In my opinion this is a place you wouldn’t want to miss while in Panama City!

Since I was staying in Casco Viejo, it was a logical stop along the way one day. The interiors are far more attractive than that of the exterior, so don’t let the outside fool you.
