- Karen WBrussels, Belgium5 contributionsWhat a lovely and thoughtful day we had at Casco Viejo. Worth 100% to spend one entire day there and taking a tour of the are will give you a clear understanding. Highly recommendedWritten 29 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Shelley C8 contributionsBest part was the movie and only because there were so many visitors we didn't get to see much of the boats. Once you exit the canal section you can't return so be sure to see what you want before going to the IMAX movie or do it after watching the movie.Written 25 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rochelle FRandolph, NJ920 contributionsWonderful and long walk along the Causeway. The Panama City skyline is beautiful to see and you can stop at the Bio Museo as an outing. We walked one way and had lunch.Written 29 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Rochelle FRandolph, NJ920 contributionsOur last day in Panama, we decided to take a walk and crossed one of the "red bridges" as my friend called them, to walk along this roadway by the water. It was sunny and there is little shade (we left later in the morning). We walked all the way to the fish market where we had lunch and then continued to Casco Viejo for coffee.
Quite a good long walk. Also doable on bikes if you have them or want to rent them.Written 27 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Shelley C8 contributionsWe saw all three different species of the monkeys as well as alligators, some birds and beautiful flowers.
Two types of monkeys got up close and personal but not the howlers.Written 25 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Nice to know the non - USA views locally.
I only wish there was more English language explanation of displays.
Good exhibits.
Seems uninteresting at some stages.
Can take photos and videos, without flashes.Written 11 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We didn't see the whole lake but it was very interesting to be on the canal route.Written 25 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We went to the museum and enjoyed the exhibits which are okay and we did learn about Panama. We then walked the Amador Causeway which is a nice long walk (do try to go when it is not midday as there is minimal shade)Written 29 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NikCollymoreTrincity, Trinidad43 contributionsA really big and nice mall. Be sure to mark where you entered from as it is possible to get lost lol.
It has a wide variety of stores with literally all your needs from shoes, to clothes, accessories, household appliances, groceries, food, you name it.
My only wish would have been to encounter more folks/store clerks who knew a bit of English. Otherwise shopping here was good.Written 11 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Study the mall web site before you go to orient yourself. - IlyaNJMarlboro, NJ944 contributionsAn interesting church whose main feature is the remarkable Golden Altar. If you come around Christmastime, you can also see an altogether the most incredible Nativity display.Written 5 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Maria jose OTegucigalpa, Honduras19 contributionsReally nice way to get some steps / cardio while enjoying nature and the city views.
The road is paved with some stairs along the way. Thew views at the top are nice. The climb is about 30 min each way and not steep.Written 10 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
