Prompt pick up and great information from Mike on the journey up the mountain then excellent guidance and photography! from Santiago for the bike ride down the 25 bends made for a fun experience. We were wowed on the journey up with the amazing views then had an exhilarating fun bike ride down the 25 bends… definitely recommend … a favourite part of our holiday in Kotor.

I did this tour when my cruise ship was in port for the day. I've been on 30 cruises and have done dozens of shore excursions and this tour was one of the most memorable. The views and experience were absolutely stunning and I enjoyed learning more about Montenegro and Kotor.

Not only was the experience itself amazing, the pre-tour communication and logistics were top-notch.

Once you're dropped off at the top of the mountain, you have the option of climbing the 461 steps to the mausoleum and it's well worth it. I'm posting a pano image that I hope renders well on this site. Afterwards, you have a snack at the lookout restaurant (included), before starting the descent which was safe and well controlled. Although it was a warm summy day, the combination of altitude and breeze on the bike make it very comfortable. We ended the ride back at the port.

Milija was a fabulous host. He picked us up promptly from our hotel and prior to the pick-up was very communicative on what to expect for the day.

The tour started at the top of the mountain with a stunning view of the Bay of Kotor. We cycled to a local cafe where we had a drink and Milija gave us a brief history of all the sights within our view.

We then had fun traversing down the mountain back to our hotel. This tour is NOT difficult. If you are looking for an adrenaline cycle this is the not the right tour. It is perfect for average ability families to cycle together and to experience the beautiful views in a more entertaining way.

    Highly recommend!

This was an absolutely amazing tour and well worth doing. Starting off on a relaxing bike ride along the beautiful coastal road with minimal effort , you reach the point where the hike begins. The climb is relatively steep but totally shaded as it cuts through a beautiful chestnut forest. After approximately 30 minutes you reach an old abandoned village where you are greeted with stunning views of the bay and ice cold cranberry cordial. Very refreshing and welcome after the hike. Our guide Vanje was a wealth of knowledge and made the tour lots of fun with his information and personal stories. We were able to ask him anything. I highly recommend this tour above all others for something a bit different.

I found out about MontenegroPlus from TripAdvisor and decided to book a tour with them based on the reviews, however was really disappointed. I booked a sunset sup tour for me and my sister on MontenegroPlus website. It was written that the tour was for beginners. However, when we arrived the tour organizer Jeffrey was surprised that we were beginners and said that he charge more money for the instruction of those who have not done supboarding before. When I said that it was written in the website that this tour was for beginners, he was also surprised and told that beginners mean that we at least know something. Eventually, he agreed that we just look standing by the side how he explains a 6-year-old boy how to supboard. The tour guiding was also terrible. The guide did not explain where we were going.
At least we enjoyed the beautiful sunset. That was the most memorable part of the tour.
Finally, Jeffrey said that he would send us the photos from sunset tour. Even though I wrote him, we never received our photos.
