Breathing in the surrounding rice fields and peaceful energy of the school constructed with bamboo made it very special and uplifting! As a US solo woman traveler it was refreshing to be a part of a small group; a delightful couple from Australia:) I loved the Guide he infused playfulness into the experience as he explained the history of Laos and styles of weaving and basketry. He even went the extra mile with guiding us patiently with how it’s done! The cooking part with the bamboo shoots was so delicious and reminded me of the value of bamboo as a nutritional and renewable, resource to replace all the plastics! (Why not???)
The mung musician and dancer was the star of the show! Such a gorgeous representation of Laos and the mung community with all its wonderful contributions!! Cup Chai lye lye!!(Thank you very much!!!)

I went there a couple of days ago with my boyfriend to experience the traditional bamboo weaving. It was worth it and very interesting. The instructor is clearly a professional and very sweet lady. The place is so peaceful and relaxing. The view is also amazing. After the class, we had lunch at the restaurant. The food was delicious. I got to know that they grow most of the vegetables by themself and freshly use them at the restaurant. We both had a great time. Recommend for people who want to experience the new things :)

I went here on a trip with my family. This was one of the best experiences we had our whole trip. The setting and ambience when you walk into the studio is beautiful and Gai is a real professional who offers her guests a really personal and relaxing experience. The tea ceremony was a super surprise touch afterwards. Everyone should stop here!
