Myself and three friends chose the kayaking experience and it was one of the most memorable trips of our time on holiday.
Our guide Sai was truly excellent and was a great representative for his country and company
*How the day was structured*
We were initially picked up at our hotel, along with a number of other people who had various experiences booked with Laos group tours.
We were then transferred to another minibus before arriving by the waters edge were we began kayaking back down the Mekong.
The Kayaking was stunning - there is no other way to describe it. We had stops off at a small village and some caves. The group was just my three friends and our guide Sai
Following this we had lunch (which was super nice) , before being driven an hour and a half to the Kuang Si Waterfall. This was also a breaktaking experience.
Pros: unbelievable experience, with breathtaking scenery. Our guide was amazing
Cons: organisation is a bit lacking -
An itinerary could have been sent to us, so we knew a bit more what was going on, and whether to bring spare clothes.
A bunch of people who were with us in the minibus at the start weren't doing the same thing leading to confusion - this could be communicated early on
