- Marek BocanekBrno, Czech Republic460 contributionsBeautiful, clean water and a very long waterfall, ending in cascades that can amuse many tourists. - lpk325Quezon City, Philippines1,433 contributionsThe sanctuary takes good care of the elephants, giving them an environment where they can thrive. Our guide was very good and we got to spend the afternoon feeding elephants and walking with them into the forest, an experience that is hard to forget. They lent us suitable attire so we would not get wet or too dirty up as we cross the riverand move through the trees. I would highly recommend this trip.Written 6 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Marek BocanekBrno, Czech Republic460 contributionsTemple built by Setthathirath in 1559 during the Lan Xang era. Worth to visit, in particular if you're a history buff, as this was the peak of Lan Xang era.Written 10 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - lpk325Quezon City, Philippines1,433 contributionsI ended up going daily to the night market with it's breadth of local product shopping options, which were inexpensive for the most part as well as proximity to the food market, where you can have a broad selection of dishes at very affordable prices. It is a great way to meet people as well as it is a watering hole for all tourists in Luang.Written 6 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rebecca K11 contributionsThere were many things to do around the city. We spent much time strolling around. A day tour to local vilalge and Kuangsi water fall was also worth doing. Laos people were friendly too.Written 20 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- 友稀 古3 contributionsI learned how to ride an elephant and was able to ride an elephant alone. There was an experience here that can only be done in Laos. I would like to come and ride an elephant again. Thank you very much.Written 12 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Miles ArcherBoca Raton, FL7,109 contributionsThe waterfalls here are braided and stepped. It's very scenic. I have an affinity for traveling to view falls, which I've done in several countries.Written 29 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Katherine10 contributionsIts a really relaxing place. On the way back from the Kuang Si waterfalls, you can ask the electric vehicle driver to drop you at the butterfly park. After the hustle and bustle of the waterfalls, this was a really chill place. You can see many butterflies and learn about their lifecycles, as well as stop in a natural fish spa. We really enjoyed sitting by the waterfalls that they have at the center. As there are few people at the butterfly park, it was nice to sit and enjoy the sound of small waterfalls without the crowds. Small, but still beautiful and all to yourself.Written 15 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Hava N3 contributionsI loved my experience at Nahm Dong Park! It was very easy to coordinate details with Sam and get answer to any questions before the experience. On the day of the visit, Keo picked me up at my hostel, introduced me to the park and gave me some recommendations. I spent the whole day there, returning at 16h30 pm. At first I was a bit hesitant, as I didn't know if there were so many things to do to be busy from 9 to 17h - but Sam explained that there are a lot of things to do and I wasn't disappointed. After doing the activities included in the package (treetop tour and zip lining) I took the opportunity to visit the gardens, the swimming pools where you can walk and the trails. It was wonderful to sit next to the small waterfalls and listen to the calming sound of the water. Thank you very much to everyone who contributed to making this experience so pleasant and to all the people responsible for taking care of this space - congratulations, I hope to return in the future!Written 30 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Grace10Seattle, WA9 contributionsThe ropes course and zip lining were amazing. The staff were well trained and helpful! This was the first time doing an outside ropes course, and I felt safe despite the trickiness of the course. One of the guides carried my phone to take pictures for my friend and I throughout the entire course. The views from the zip line were beautiful!!Written 28 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Shelley MAlbany, New Zealand916 contributionsJust so much detail, you don't know where to look. The ceiling, walls etc are just beautiful. A real treasure to see. We spent about 50 minutes wandering around here as it started to get quite busy. You just can not believe the beautiful details and colours. There are nice cafes close for a cold drink afterwards too. Some tourists forgot how to be respectful and wore skimpy clothes and were very loud.Written 15 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
