We visited with family in April 2023, it takes half hour to 1 hour walk from parking. Little treck but felt nice in cold morning.
This temple is situated little far from City, so recommended to visit in early morning.
We carried raincoat and umbrella as it was raining.
The treck was beautiful in rain.
Temple was very nice and view from top was amazing.
    Must visit place in srinagar.

It is heavenly. Now you dont need to go to Netherlands to see this spectacular phenomenon. Each step was a spring festival. Til wherever you could see, it was just flowers & some trees. Daffodils, Tulips, Whispering willows, and many more. Just amazing !!!

We visited beautiful Kashmir valley (Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonmarg) in the month of May 2023.

After reading this thread, we booked Innova with Mr. Aashiq (+919797726520) for the entire trip. His brother Mr. Shakeel (+919622709560) drove us through the valley. It was indeed a pleasant journey with him.

We enjoyed all places but experience at Sonmarg was specially good. Sonmarg is really beautiful. Shakeel knew Sonmarg at the back of his hand, he shared history & details of each place, talked about every snow-slide on the way and about the ongoing Tunnel work in Sonmarg. Although, we couldn't visit Zozila pass, zero point etc., he took us to remote places with breathtaking views, where other tourists were not present. Upon request, he also drove us through offbeat inner roads winding through beautiful villages.

Shakeel rightly guided us at each destination - what to expect, what to do & what not to do and how much to bargain with local ponywallas, shikara riders etc. He is very knowledgeable, well educated, polite and reliable guide. Recommended Aashiq bhai and Shakeel to all.

    A must visit to Sonmarg!!

Lovely, calm & clean premium houseboats on the other side of Dal Lake...however recently it is becoming a nuisance with over-crowding of holiday makers & too many motorboats on the lake

One of the best location in Kashmir.
Definitely recommend this place during summer time. The road to reach the top of the mountain is challenging for cab.

Achabal Mughal Garden was built by mughal emperor Jahangir for his wife.
It is the largest Mughal garden in India.
The tourists can wear the traditional dress of kashmiri girls and get clicked with pictures. Even this is a good spot for photo shoots.

Must visit place. Pony ride deep into forest hills nearly 6 hours with family reaching a huge lake. Ride into wilderness is memorable. No comission to cabs hence not popular/ promoted but must bargain rate. Gentle ride unlike Gulmarg, Sonamarg.

The Kheer Bhavani temple is a must visit to any tourist visiting Srinagar Kashmir.

This ancient temple is not very well known for outsiders. While at Srinagar don't miss.

Apparently the temple is managed by Hindus, Sikhs and Muslims living and work in harmony connected by faith and history

Shah-e-Hamadan Masjid was first built in 1395 AD in the memory of Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadani who brought Islam to Kashmir. The present structure is wooden and decorated with ornate chandeliers and paper machine embellishments.
