We dreamed of visiting this waterfall before giong to Bali and this happened. Everything is exactly like in the photos on Instagram. Along the way, we visited rice fields and a Water Temple Beratan. It's a long way back and forth, be prepared for this, but we liked how natural the surroundings are. Please take a towel and sunscreen with you if you want to swim and sunbathe a little, as well as a drinking water.

We visited Gitgit during s north bali tour with s private driver. He already mentioned that we need to take a local guide from parking area. I read before that this might be a scam. When we arrived as expected a local guide asked us if we want to support local guide community. I asked him what this ment and he explained that they collect donation for the locals near gitgit waterfall to support the families and offer in exchange a local guide to the water fall. He mentioned it would be 200k IDR for 2 people including the entrance fee (which is about 20k pP i think) but if we don‘t want to is also ok.
He was really calm and nice and they have a small booth where you can pay/ donate and get a recipe. This overall convinced me. Especially his attitude to just donate.
At the end he was really nice because on the way he showed us all the different trees and played a guesswork what spices which tree gives. It was actually really nice to learn and see. On the way there are a lot different trees which give macadamia, cacao, vanilla, muskat, cloce, coffee etc. Of course some of them were imported maybe long time ago and are still there growing.
The waterfall itself is also nice to see. It is really high and makes a lot of wind when the water drops to the ground, so its nice and chilly near the waterfall. The guide also made pictures of us and explained about the small temple there.
On the way sureley there are some shops but there not aggressively selling. They just say hello and ask you if you want to look.
We bought one small package Koriander Seeds and vanilla powder for 120k. You can trade with them and get it cheaper. At the end for me was fine to support them so I was fine with the price. On the top of the road there is also a small market with normal prices. After climbing up we really needed a coke and bottle of water (10k each).

Its up to you if you want to believe and support them but for me they were nice to me and the guide showed us a lot of things on the way so I am fine with it.

Banjar hot springs is located in Singaraja area (maybe takes around 15 minutes from lovina beach). This hot spring has been here since over century ago. It is a simple hot springs and affordable which you can enjoy it. There are several pools from smaller to big pools. The hot water springs complex comprises four main pool sections, with the largest and central bathing pool featuring a restaurant perched high above the northern side. Beside the restaurant are restrooms, lockers and changing rooms, and a spa and massage facility.
Over all, Banjar hot springs is a good place to take a hot bathing. enjoy

I visited this spring with my family when we visited Bali at least 5 times over the years. It was beautiful and within probably 50-75 yards of the sea! I would love to return again now because I am sure it has not changed since we were last there!

today 9 nov2019 in jagaraga village we have a balinese Creamation. we begin at 6am by bathing a deceased body, then the family conducts a joint prayer for the last time to a deceased body to pay their respects to him. after that we head to the nearest grave accompanied by the next of kin, distant relatives or the local community who sympathize with him. then the burner did his job, about 1 hour had passed and everything had turned to ashes then the family gathered the ash to be dissolved offshore after being given a ceremony by Sriempu.

Lemukih waterfal belongs to a complex of waterfalls. It is definitely worth visiting, because of the beautiful greenery, birds, dragonflies and the rainbows that it creates around you. Just get close to the raindrops on a sunny day and you will be amazed. It is placed in the side of Sekumpul waterfalls. We were taken there by guide from Lemukih village. All the guides are very sweet and although their village is small and simple, the community and its philosophy is very strong with an ethos that modern people from the cities could learn from. I went with an expectation to see a beautiful place, but I met beautiful, genuine people and learnt what happiness is really about. Stay in the village if you can.

I recommend to wear wet shoes/snorkelling shoes or just wet your trainers. Walking on the rocks barefooted is not comfortable at all.

A beautiful waterfall, had the whole place to ourselves and I felt the path to get there wasn't too difficult. We did this as part of an independent tour.

Great experience, loved it. stunning waterfalls and great local guides, the main attraction is the cliff jumps from 5, 10 and 15 meters, and swimming in the rockpools at the bottom of the waterfalls. Great fun.

This Chinese temple is very close to the independence monument, so if you are doing a tour or just happen to pass by, go inside and enjoy the building, the live turtles and maybe get educated about the temple of some of the people inside.
If yo tell them your birth date, they can tell you all about the chinese sign of your year and your date.

The only downside of this place is that the turtles seem to have a bit low on water.

Pucak Sari waterfall is part of Sambangan and also have 3 different waterfalls of small hike.
Entry to the waterfall is chargeable and swimming/cliff jumping charges are extra. But one can go all 4 waterfalls at one go. Hiring a Guide is not recommended as one can go and hike easily.

We left bali at 9 am and rode all the way on the Scooty for about 2 hr and 30 min thru some beautiful passages and a great drive to reach the other side of the Island and here we were . It was a beautiful place to reach . There is ample free parking available and this place is clean . Once you walk around the beach you come to the jetty only difference is that it is houses about 8 different restaurants that offer rather inexpensive but basic food . They have fries burgers indonesian regulars and some drinks too .
