Amazing experience with my family (including 11yr old daughter). Very interactive and informative. The cooking instructor had really good English. The dishes we cooked were mouth watering. The kitchen was clean and well equipped

Excellent! Very fun cooking class and very informative and delicious. Was also taught about the traditional buildings and customs which was very interesting and we were grateful that they went into such detail

Truly exceptional experience, from the market visit to the farm garden harvesting to the well organized cooking experience. We learned a lot and made delicious food. Our guide Wayan also recorded our experience with a fantastic video that he shared with us. I’ve been to many cooking classes around the world and this one is special!

We had a wonderful time learning to cook some delicious dishes with Putu. She was a warm and engaging teacher with excellent English. Cooking in her beautiful garden was an amazing experience and seeing inside her family compound while learning about Balinese culture was particularly interesting! The food was exceptional and I would reccomend Putu's cooking class to anyone visiting Ubud!

Booked this as a surprise birthday present for my wife. Great experience from the visit to the local market to creating the banana leaf offering to learning the basics of Balinese cooking. A good 2-3 hour experience which ends with you eating the spread you spent time cooking.

Kia ora - an amazing interactive and fun experience starting at the market, tasting, checking out different foods before we even get to the compound. Roni has a great sense of humour too!

We were invited to sit with his family and he explained how the compound was set out, family grouping - an experience on culture. Sitting amongst the beautiful sculptures and just enjoying being there.

The beautiful trees, gardens and fish that provides for them, which is wonderful to experience before we moved into the cookery class. Love the open air feel of the class.

This is a hands-on experience, working together, and Roni has a great sense of humour and his team were super on to it. I do admit, the taste testing, plus the morning market had us kind of semi full.

We sat down to our meal with humbleness, being grateful and enjoying the opportunity to be sharing in the life of Roni and his family.

Yogi was great. We had a small group of 4 and did the 2pm class. Food was easy to make with our great instructor and it was the nicest food we had in Bali

Gus and family were wonderful hosts for this class. We learned a lot about Balinese culture and the food was excellent. This tour was recommended by our local tour driver as the best in Bali and it did not disappoint. Wonderful food and cooking. Learned how to make fresh coconut milk and oil. Several recipes to try at home with substitute ingredients if we can't find them all. We have taken cooking classes elsewhere, and this was one of the best.

We've traveled the world, taking a good number of cooking classes in different countries. This class was by far the best we've experienced! We learned so much about their cooperative farming effort, and we even harvested some of our ingredients! Our team of instructors and support folks were very enthusiastic! They were delightful and affirming of everyone in our group at every stage of the meal prep! This was a fun and energetic celebration of Balinese food and culture!

We thoroughly enjoyed our cooking class with romantic candlelight dinner. We first went to spend time in a Balinese family home and learned more about the culture while enjoying a snack and coffee. Next we walked to the farm and cooking area and learned about the produce they grow. Our amazing host/chef Ron helped us to cook a delicious 6 course meal. Ron was a great host, so friendly and a great sense of humour. Highly recommend Lusang cooking class!

My family (11 people total) went to Dewa's home for a cooking class and it was the highlight of our trip! I enjoyed the food and his home and doing an activity together. However, the car ride to and from the house with Dewa was the most impactful. Dewa shared a bit about his philosophy on life and it was just so refreshing.
