Kia ora - an amazing interactive and fun experience starting at the market, tasting, checking out different foods before we even get to the compound. Roni has a great sense of humour too!
We were invited to sit with his family and he explained how the compound was set out, family grouping - an experience on culture. Sitting amongst the beautiful sculptures and just enjoying being there.
The beautiful trees, gardens and fish that provides for them, which is wonderful to experience before we moved into the cookery class. Love the open air feel of the class.
This is a hands-on experience, working together, and Roni has a great sense of humour and his team were super on to it. I do admit, the taste testing, plus the morning market had us kind of semi full.
We sat down to our meal with humbleness, being grateful and enjoying the opportunity to be sharing in the life of Roni and his family.
