    A wonderful way to learn about Balinese food and culture
    It was a great way to spend the morning! We were taken to rice fields and told a bit about harvest practices in Indonesia, and then to tour a local market. Our driver/guide explained what was for sale and even helped us try and buy some unique Balinese fruits! After arriving for the cooking class, we were given a beverage and water, and taught to cook 15 sauces, dishes, and desserts. At the end, we all sat down for a meal together to eat what we prepared!

    Balinese trip highlight!
    Went on a Sobah Sistahs retreat with 13 amazing woman and we had the pleasure of learning how to cook Balinese food by Putu and her family. Was absolutely wonderful and everything was fresh and delicious. Then there was a young girl who performed a traditional Balinese Dance for us which was absolutely breathtaking and mesmerizing. It was One of my favorite days on my Bali Vacation. I would absolutely go back and repeat this day!

    Highlight of our trip
    Such a great day and a highlight of our time in Bali. Really enjoyed the stop at the local market and seeing the variety of fruit/veggies/spices before the tour of the farm and picking some of our ingredients. The cooking was fun and easy to follow and food was delicious (and lots of it), and they easily cater for dietaries. Above all the hosts were great and made the experience extra fun and memorable. Highly recommend this experience!

    Amazing!
    Dewa was amazing! We learned so much about his village and he was a kind, informative, and funny guide. this class was our favorite part of the trip.

    Amazing experience!
    This was such a great experience! The visit to the coffee plantation was very interesting and it was great to try all the coffee/tea samples! The cycling was overall pretty easy and the guides provided a lot of support. Our guides, Nyoman and Kadek were really great and provided such a great experience, sharing so much knowledge. I loved being able to leave the main city area and see the village areas and local life! Definitely recommended!

    We had a fantastic time with Putu & family, Putus’ knowledge and skill in preparing traditional Balinese food is exceptional and it was so much fun. The whole experience was great value for money, we’re taking some great recipes home with us and we can’t recommend this tour highly enough. If you want a Balinese food experience to remember, book this and you won’t be disappointed.

    Fantastic class!
    The teachers here are amazing, sweet and funny! The food was delicious and authentic, plus we got a cook book to take home, and I’m excited to make some of these recipes for my family! Highly recommend this class!!

    Bring Balinese kitchen back to your home
    From pick up up until drop off Wayan took a great care of all of us. She is lovely, funny and an expert of Balinese food, ingredients, market, tools. I absolutely enjoyed every minute of this morning experience. Can't wait to show off my new skills back at home and impress the family with delicious and healthy Balinese food. Highly recommended.

    Bali food experience
    Fantastic experience and would thoroughly recommend this for anyone interested in learning about Balinese cuisine. Great setting and wonderful staff. The gardens are beautiful, the food preparation excellent and the eating was very good.

    Authentic Balinese cooking experience
    Katut was a great teacher, my husband and I enjoyed visiting the market first to learn about all the ingredients that go into the dishes. Good to learn the various cooking techniques and all the dishes were delicious. Excellent day 😊

    10/10 experience
    What a beautiful experience! This class was a real highlight of our trip. It was interesting going to the market in the morning and learning about all of the ingredients we would be using. The class was informative and fun, and the food delicious. The location is also amazing, and we learnt a lot about Balinese life in general. We wanted to experience authentic Bali and this was it.

    A very nice cooking with friendly people
    We've been welcome by very friendly people, like we were in our own kitchen. They taught us a lot from the market to the cooking. We had a very good time, I highly recommend it !

    Great Cooking Experience in local Community
    Kadek and his team made this experience a special time during our stay in Ubud. Can only recommend it, we got a tour around the organic farm where we collected the ingredients for our cooking. Food tasted marvelous and we learned a lot about traditional meal preparation. The meal was accompanied by traditional balinese music, played by Kadek's 11-year old son. Money well spent, as it goes to maintain this organic farm.
