- Ben S21 contributionsLovely art gallery in Ubud with a diverse range of Indonesian paintings and sculptures + Keris collection. There is an incredible amount of art, and with an entrance fee of 100k this is well worth. The grounds are well maintained and it is not busy, making it a peaceful destination for tourists trying to avoid the crowds. It is located a bit out of the way and is quite a walk from the centre of Ubud. Would recommend for those who like to browse art and are looking for a peaceful use of 1-2 hours.Written 19 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Finda AyuDenpasar, Indonesia192 contributionsFirst thing I notice is how big the museum building from outside. And that makes me amaze even more is how bigger it actually is! You’ll see full of details dragon statue on the stairs to main entrance, then you’ll find ticket counter, then the magic begins. The museum has huge variation of arts on display. It has 3 storeys on the main building, and few other smaller bungalows around it. Yes, they’re all full of paintings and arts. It’s really nice to wonder around as I found a lot of interesting paintings. You can take photos at most of the museum’s part.Written 5 June 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Scenic6667623 contributionsThis is an oasis in busy Ubud. A bit like it was
20 years ago but more glamorous. There is an interesting array of Balinese art including a
Gallery devoted to Walter Spies plus some
changing exhibitions. There are 2 pavilions devoted to art work - paintings and carvings. When we visited young boys were learning gamelan and young girls traditional dancing. The 100k rp ticket price includes a drink in one of 2 cafes. Some people think this is expensive but it’s only Aus $10 and is supporting Balinese art and the people.Written 28 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
