1. Ubud has many whitewater rafting operators. We chose Red Paddle and loved our adventure. 2. The Agung River on which this tour operates is perfect for beginners. 3. Our 'guide and captain' was playful and funny. The ride itself was fun and safe. 4. Things to watch out for: You have to descend 600 steps to get to the river and ascend 200 steps once the ride is done (the latter is very tiring for those above 40). 5. Wear slippers rather than sports shoes. 6. There is a mid river stop at a small cantina where everything is overpriced. Give your guide a heftier tip at the end of the trip instead of a treat at this cantina. 7. Pick up a waterproof cellphone holder when you start the trip (they're available with the operator). 8. The river isn't too rough. Even 10 year old kids can join. 9. Try booking your trip with to and fro transport (it's way more convenient). 10. Have loads of fun. We sure did!
Mousey ,is a good driver and speaks good English. Make jokes and riddles during tours that makes us laugh. He knows Bali verry well and we enjoyed his company. Thanks Mousey for driving us savely. Hope to see you soon again in Bali.

We had the most amazing experiences with Komang. The trips were perfectly planned and timed. The attention to detail and explanations were helpful. Always on time. We used his company three times and wanted more if we had more time!
