Sudi in particular was very knowledgeable, honest, understanding, patient, specific and explained everything. He walked around with us but also gave us space. And surprisingly hadn’t completed a photography class because his photography skills were amazing. He knew where all the Instagram worthy shots were and how to pose for them.

He was fantastic & shared so much information about the local culture. This is such a great tour to get out & see the beautiful places Ubud has to offer. - John B8 contributionsWe had a great day with Aprio, picked up on time and away for a fabulous day exploring Eastern Bali. Not only did we get to enjoy the sites, Aprio answered all our questions about Bali, filling in our gaps in knowledge about the culture and history of Indonesia. We were looked after every step of the way with plenty fo time to enjoy each location. The lunch time Indonesian buffet was great, and what an awesome location to eat looking out over the rice terraces. The swing was something else...hold on tight it's great fun! Our final stop of the day was the hidden waterfall and it didn't dissapoint, simply beautiful although be prepared for the steps ...every bit worth it. At every stop Apro made sure we had photos to remember the day by..we ended up woth 240 in total! 😁

Answered lots of question from us and pointed out landmarks and culture stories from the car while driving. Had umbrellas and door ready for us when I rained. Took our photos for us. Made an extra stop for us to try and buy fruit. Very very happy. Would definitely recommend. We ran an hour overtime and they were still happy while we were tired as anything. From getting us tickets to purchasing mini treats for the fishes at the temple; he even sent us a dessert on the house and a very nice bouquet once he learnt we were on our honeymoon; as a surprise! - Yenti P2 contributionsOur guide was so great and had such a good experience. We didn’t get to see the sunrise in a typical sense because it was cloudy but still a breathtaking view.
Warning though! The walk was harder than expected (and we are relatively fit people!), we thought it wouldn’t be too bad as we had seen other reviews. - Nathan K1 contributionSuper easy and stress-free tour that takes you to some of Bali’s most amazing spots! The temples were fascinating, and the rice fields looked stunning in the sun. There was a lot of driving, but my driver Udi was professional, friendly, and made the trip enjoyable. Komang Alu took me around to all of the various sights in Ubud as well as gave me a lot of the history lessons and insight into Balinese culture and religion.
Komang was very flexible with me, giving me options for how I wanted to structure the trip and asked about what I wanted to do to make sure I got the most out of it.
As a solo traveller, I found it really great to go on a tour with a local so I could learn and get the proper cultural experience. I highly recommend Komang Alu and this tour for any travellers looking to explore Ubud and learn more about the culture of Bali.

Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Tony W4 contributionsWe used our driver Kody, and he took us on an all day trip to a couple Art Villages, temple (desa batuan), coffee plantation, rice terrace (Uma Ceking) with swings & photo areas & nice restaurants, & lastly Waterfall Tegenungan with a big waterfalls & glass bottom bridge next to it. He is extremely professional & patient; waited for us at every stops without rushing us; and explained to us all the important things to know about each site.
The fees he charged for this all day tour was extremely reasonable, not more than one fancy meals.
I highly recommend Kody!!!

Wayan was able to come pick us up within minutes of contact instead of time scheduled toured us around per our interest giving us information on each area he stopped at. - Chad M1 contributionOur family had a wonderful time on the tour with Manik. From the moment we met, he made us feel very welcome and comfortable. His knowledge of Indonesian history and the culture of Bali was impressive, and he provided us with great background information on all the locations we visited. His warm and friendly personality truly enhanced our experience, making it both informative and enjoyable.
We particularly enjoyed the visit to the rice plantation, where Manik explained the traditional farming techniques. The temple visit was also a highlight, as Manik shared fascinating stories about its history and significance.
We highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore Bali with a knowledgeable and personable guide.
