What travellers are saying
- Simon DBallajura, Australia367 contributionsNot very hard to get to waterfall that's not far out of Ubud or Gianyar. Good viewing platform above to get photos before going down to the base of the waterfall. Not very busy when we were there so it made it a bit more enjoyable.Written 8 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- CoachColiinB8 contributionsClimbed Mt Batur for sunrise. Got picked up at 2:30 AM. They provided breakfast at small restaurant before we started. They provided second breakfast at the top with coffee, eggs, toast, fresh fruit (not the normal banana pineapple papaya - but some more unique - mangosteen, and a couple things I can’t remember). Then we stopped at a restaurant for third breakfast - which was a huge buffet. Totally unexpected - or at least I don’t remember being told about it.
On the hike, our guide - Kadek - explained local history, different plants, the recent volcanic activity and was generally a thoughtful and helpful guy.
Then we went to the hot springs near Mt Batur which were great. Nice and clean. Other ones on the island not so much.
As a bonus, on the way home we saw the rice terraces at Teggallalung. They were outstanding. Then as a second bonus, we went to a coffee plantation for the tour and tasting of about 12 different coffee and teas. We maybe got the two add ones cause we didn’t spend a lot of time at the hot springs.Written 17 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Sara H1 contributionI had a very good and safe transport with Putu. - MST1 contributionI booked these guys for the first time and no regrets. Amazing service by Artana and Wayan - very friendly guys and good driving skills.
On the last day i had some time to kill before my flight and we ended up at an ocean front local food house at balangan beach that is usually visited by surfers. It was great.
Booking them from now onwards!Written 26 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Rachel DBrisbane, Australia5 contributionsJust returned from 2 weeks in Bali May 2022 and now I will always contact Bedu as my/our driver for future visits. Bedu speaks perfect English and has a great personality. He's fully licensed to carry passengers for tours in Bali (important) and is highly knowledgeable. He'll provide advice that you need to know when stopping for shopping, attractions, or just making plans. He's never on time - he's always early! Super calm and happy and just generally a top bloke. Life has been really hard for balinese during covid and Bedu sacrificed a lot for his family during that time. Highly recommend him. I'll be back Bedu!Written 22 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ian GBrisbane, Australia10 contributionsThe E-bike made the trip so easy.
Combination of roads, village streets, laneways & tracks thru rice padi's.
A fair amount of uphill grades for the first half with the E-bike this was effortless, then came the easy downhill coasting for the finish run.
The guides are very knowledgeable & made great conversation.
The inclusive lunch at a local warung gave me the best Gado Gado! Usually a dish served at room temperature, but this version was freshly cooked, served hot...... yum, yum, yum.
But, back to the goodtime on an E-bike....

Nengah recommended local attractions in the areas we were visiting which meant I saw so much more than I expected. Fantastic service and highly recommended!Written 25 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Steve8 contributionsWe had a 2 day tour with Joe as our private guide. Joe was amazing. He took the time to explain and show us true authentic Balinese culture, and the Hindu religion that underpins it all. It was great education foe my children as well as my wife and I
We had many experiences with Joe but some of the highlights were helping locals in the rice fields, visiting a local home and local markets, seeing Mount Batur and the volcanic rocks, going to the Holy Spring Temple and understanding which fountains to use when there
Joe also has a secret waterfall spot that is easily the equal of any I had seen in Bali and guess what - no one was there!
Joe is a safe driver, excellent photographer, and very easy to get along with. We never felt rushed
For me, Joe made our Bali holiday so very special and I cannot recommend him highly enough. 5 stars!Written 4 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Shaun FoxMelbourne, Australia3 contributionsBali is a jewel to visit. Ketut provided the best way to see all the sites we wanted, with security and peace of mind during our honeymoon. Nothing was too difficult or too out of the way. Whilst providing safe personal transportation, he was all too happy to converse about his culture, customs and the natural surroundings. Ketut goes out of his way to make you feel like family.Written 24 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- MarinaiTomo7 contributionsOur friends recommended Oli and his agency for our first time on Bali and we were not disapointed. Oli was such a great host and we very soon did not feel like we are with a guide but a friend. He organized day trips for us which were suitable for our family (parants and 7year old child). We felt great and cannot wait to come again and meet Oli and visit other landmarks that we didnt have time to visit this time.Written 27 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Lylian LPerth, Australia36 contributionsMade delivers way more than what I expected! I contacted him to hire his service as a driver, but in the end our group got more than what we bargained for: a knowledgeable tour guide with good English; he even bring Balinese snack for our breakfast and invited us for dinner at his beautiful family compound to show the real Balinese daily lifestyle.
Made answers all of our curious question about Bali's culture/belief and sightseeing objects. As a driver, he's always alert and drives carefully but efficiently. He always shows up on-time, good communication, fairly priced. Made's hospitality is second to none.Written 15 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
