- M BhattUdaipur, India14 contributionsIt's my first experience where I fed monkeys and took them on my shoulders. I am very scared of monkeys but the staff working here encourage me for it...It's an unforgettable experience.Written 14 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- CoachColiinB8 contributionsClimbed Mt Batur for sunrise. Got picked up at 2:30 AM. They provided breakfast at small restaurant before we started. They provided second breakfast at the top with coffee, eggs, toast, fresh fruit (not the normal banana pineapple papaya - but some more unique - mangosteen, and a couple things I can’t remember). Then we stopped at a restaurant for third breakfast - which was a huge buffet. Totally unexpected - or at least I don’t remember being told about it.
On the hike, our guide - Kadek - explained local history, different plants, the recent volcanic activity and was generally a thoughtful and helpful guy.
Then we went to the hot springs near Mt Batur which were great. Nice and clean. Other ones on the island not so much.
As a bonus, on the way home we saw the rice terraces at Teggallalung. They were outstanding. Then as a second bonus, we went to a coffee plantation for the tour and tasting of about 12 different coffee and teas. We maybe got the two add ones cause we didn’t spend a lot of time at the hot springs.Written 17 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Ian GBrisbane, Australia8 contributionsThe E-bike made the trip so easy.
Combination of roads, village streets, laneways & tracks thru rice padi's.
A fair amount of uphill grades for the first half with the E-bike this was effortless, then came the easy downhill coasting for the finish run.
The guides are very knowledgeable & made great conversation.
The inclusive lunch at a local warung gave me the best Gado Gado! Usually a dish served at room temperature, but this version was freshly cooked, served hot...... yum, yum, yum.
But, back to the goodtime on an E-bike....

- Luke D4 contributionsWe had a lovely driver Susi who picked us up at 2.30 warm and smiling. She explained what was going on and let us rest for the hour drive, even offering blankets!
When we arrived she went above and beyond to answer all of our questions.
Our tour guide was When who was incredible. Took the best photos you will ever See! Showed us the farm. Carried our gear up the whole bloody mountain. Smiling , knew when we needed a break and made sure we was comfy.

Our driver and the tour guide was amazing 🙏🏻Written 19 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Richard2 contributionsWe had an amazing time! Nyoman took us all the way through the mountain to the top, taking breaks (and star gazing) as and when we needed. Her friendly attitude and care made an already amazing experience even better. At the top she prepared us coffees and teas as well as sandwiches to sustain after the hike. She also showed us the best possible spots to take pictures and took some amazing photos of the breathtaking sunrise. Would definitely recommend!
Our driver to the the mountain and back was hilarious! He honestly made the journey and the whole experience that much more special - thanks Gidi !

- beccatwose1 contributionNewBali was recommended to me by a friend and I’m so glad we used them for our excursions! We did the Nusa Penida day trip, snorkelling in Amed and Aling Aling waterfall. All three were amazing but the snorkelling stood out for us as it was like looking down at a fish tank! Our tour guides Rita and Linda were both lovely and made the day really enjoyable, Martin was also really helpful and made sure everything went smoothly for us. Overall a really good company to use with lovely staff, and it was the highlight of our holiday!Written 16 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- KyoJadeStoneLas Vegas, NV18 contributionsIt was the best activity I've ever had in Bali.
The guide was kind and pleasant. They made fun of us, but always put safety first.
If I go back to Bali, I will visit other canyons with Adventure & Spirit without hesitation.
Thank you for making our honeymoon special.Written 26 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Mariana MPorto, Portugal17 contributionsIt was great!
Our guide Adi was super nice, he made that experience even better, he knew all the tricks for perfect experiences and photos! Then the relax time In the hot springs and the coffee plantation really made a perfect day.
I will definitely recommend to anyone coming to Bali!Written 28 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Trip7427711 contributionFour of us (two couples) were picked up from our hotel and we were instantly charmed by Ayu our tour guide.
She drove us about 30 mins to a village market in a rural village where we were immersed in the smells and colours on display. After sampling the local fare it was off to the trek which took in village streets, people’s homes, an eccentric art gallery, and the beautiful countryside. All the while Ayu explained the local customs and traditions and answered our many questions.
The trek was fun but also a test of balance and heat resistance, especially for us Brits!
There were a few slips and scrapes on the walk but overall we would not swap that for a touristy alternative any day.
We emerged grateful for a view of Bali we simply would not have got otherwise.
Very memorable and thank you Ayu xWritten 16 November 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Onil BWashington DC, DC2 contributionsMy wife, and girls (6 and 7) went on an awesome ATV adventure on the lava flats of Mount Batur. This a great way to cover ground and have diverse perspectives on the area. Our guides were kind, knowledgeable and friendly. We were picked up at our hotel and taken to pick up the ATVs. We explored the flats but also the surrounding villages which was a real highlight. The diversity of the landscape and crops is remarkable. Definitely, this is a unique experience and I highly recommend it.Written 9 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Parsons_70Hong Kong, China24 contributionsWhat a wonderful bike tour with BanyanTree led by a very experienced guide, Bagi. Such a great way to experience Ubud, cycling through the ricefields, seeing how the rice was harvested, passing beautiful temples and villages. We were a tour of mums and teenage daughters and Bagi & team where able to cater for everyone.
This is my third tour with Bagi and he is able to customise each trip each time - and each time we feel we have seen a different bit of Bali.
Thank you Bagi and team for everything!Written 10 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
