    An amazing trip to Northern Bintan with family
    It was a great experience to view Bintan from a different perspective. The highlight of the trip was the speed boat in the mangroves. Witnessed plenty of tree snakes hanging right above our heads. An out of the world experience in the heavy rains. The zoo was another way to explore Bintan which we weren't aware of. Plenty of animals to see and you get to feed them. Amazing seafood by the waters, but we enjoyed delicious vegetarian food since we don't eat meat. The blue light was an icing on the cake which was so unexpected. Families with kids will definitely enjoy. Boat ride to the mangrove is highly recommended.

    Authentic local experience
    We didn’t know where to go, but our driver, Dadang was very experienced. He recommended places of interest that my 87-year-old father can manage. At the blue lake and mini dessert, he helped us book a rickshaw so that my dad didn’t need to walk too much. He also brought us to the local markets and eateries. We had a wonderful time, thanks to Dadang. Highly recommended to those who are looking for authentic local experiences in Bintang.

    A Great Bintan Memory
    Loved this tour, the guys were very professional and good company. Very reasonable price for the experience. They were very knowledgeable and we saw lots of wildlife in the mangroves. A big contrast to the bustling city of Singapore yet only a short ferry ride away. The tour itself is a couple of hours so you can do it in the morning then have the rest of the day to relax. Highly recommended!

    Magical Fire Flies
    Magical experience, to see the fire flies lighting up the trees Iike a Christmas tree, and catching them with the cup of your hand and watching them fly off again. The boat ride in the dark was also quite fun and the stars were also amazing! Guide was very friendly and provided helpful info about the mangrove and fireflies. To be honest it wasn’t swarms of them but still enough to wow you. Apparently it’s better right after the rain and on moonless nights. In case you’re wondering, this is the same place for the mangrove tour, but a shorter ride because it is it safe to go into the mangrove at night when the snakes come out. :)

    Highly Recommend the Bintan Island Tour - An Experience to Remember
    Just finished the half-day Bintan Island tour and had an amazing time! The itinerary was pretty nice - we got to see the beautiful sand dunes and blue lake, visit the Buddhist temples, do some shopping in a minimarket, and enjoy a delicious lunch.

    But what really made the tour special was our guide, Yurnalis. He was incredibly friendly and kind throughout the trip, and even helped us take some great photos to remember the experience.

    Overall, I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bintan Island. It's a great way to see some of the island's top attractions, and the tour guide makes all the difference. Thanks again to Yurnalis and the rest of the team for such a wonderful experience!

    Mesmerizing beauty
    As you reach "Busung" & park your car, you feel sand dunes are just ok looking. But as you reach inside, They feel good with actually gravel & pebbles ( not exactly sand)
    You start taking pictures. You go further inside, you start forgetting the heat of the sun
    The moment you reach the "Blue Lake" you are awestruck, mesmerized & what not.
    You go on taking pictures..... you dont want to leave the place !!!
    Possible Activities :-
    Pic with eagle
    Quad biking
    Boat (lazy romantic) 20 min trip in the lake
    Run up & down the dunes
    Cannot swim in the lake
    Small chips / snacks & colddrink counters near the parking
    Toilets available near parking

    Good Piknik
    We had the opportunity to visit Bintan Island for a vacation with family.
    During our 5 days and 4 nights in Bintan, I was very satisfied with the assistance from Bintan Piknik Travel that I found on Google.

    Starting with a car that is very comfortable and guided by a really cool Tour Leader, making 5 days and 4 nights in Bintan feel very short.

    Thanks to Bintan Piknik for helping us a lot while on Bintan Island, very professional, on time, flexible with customer wishes and very caring for the tour participants, especially my 2 young children ...

    Mangrove tours Bintan
    Very well organised, unfotunately we were not luky to see animals.
    They were on time picking us from the hotel and gave is lot of details about the environnement and how the mangrove is growing.

    Not worth the price
    Is really a taxi service that drives you around. No guide provided. The Lagoi Safari Zoo can skip. It's quite barren with a handful of animals. Enjoyed the Mangrove and the Sand Dunes. Market is really just a huge supermarket. Temple was closed when we were there. To be honest, not worth the money. You can get cheaper taxi services.

    Uninspiring, overpriced, and dodgy conditions for some of the animals
    There is enough for the children to see, but not exactly alot. This is a visit of about 90 minutes.

    Just like just about everything else in Bintan, it is also somewhat overpriced. First there is the entrance fee, then it costs IDR500,000 for a buggy which can take up to 5 pax (we needed two buggies because we had more than 5 pax), and animal feed (vegetables, carrots, and a piece of chicken for the crocodile) costs IDR250,000 per bag (even in Singapore, I should be able to get all of those at the supermarket for 30% of that cost).

    There is some effort to provide a decent-looking enclosure for some of the animals, but for the others, I have to agree with the other reviewers that they are kept in bare-looking cages which hardly meet the animals' needs.
