On the sea-shore almost an archeological site from the Phenician period and later, it was a port from that period till it was finally destroyed during the Mameluke period, right next to Herzliah, well worth a few hours of visit with the family.

I come to this beach almost every trip, it has nice sand, big gazebo shades you can sit under, and cafes on the beach with comfy seats where you can order food and drink and watch the waves.
There are steps, lifts, or a ramp to get up and down from the beach and a large toilets /changing rooms.
It's a bit hot in August though.

This is a very nicely kept green park with playgrounds, a pond , running and biking trails , picnic corners etc. a small caffe and WC. In summer open air concerts every Saturday evening . Very nice for sports and walks . Adjacent to it a small nature corner with variety of birds and ducks .

Herzliya Marina hosts hundreds of sailing vessels from around the world every year. Absolutely beautiful place to visit. A selection of tasty restaurants throughout. Spectacular sunset in the evening.

This mall is always dynamic while the mall 10 minutes away on the beach is asleep. Why: (1) Lots of free parking. (2) well known mid-range brand stores (3) unique food stalls such as Druze, Dim Sum, etc. (4) movie theater (5) bowling (6) lots of cafes (7) major home improvement & appliance chains. It's where the locals shop.

Truly a hidden gem: An exquisite collection of out-of-the-ordinary contemporary art, a lot of Israeli artists. The brutalist building is in itself already worth seeing. The museum is quite small, though, which puts questions marks behind the rather expensive entrance fees.

An exhibition that presents the life of Van Gogh through his arts.
There is a very impressive digital show room (huge tent) that use to projects his arts, and the main events in his life in an interactive digital projection video technology.
The exhibition is very recommended for everybody who wants to experience art in a different way.

In the middle of a posh villa neighborhood in northern herzliya -iuta ha, lays this 700 old authentic mosque which takes you to a totally different place and time.
This mosque is still active. The views are as romantic as can be.

We got some strange looks from the men who sit at the entrance when we asked for entering the place, but the women were very welcoming. You could feel the authenticity of the place. It's not a big one, but it's location next to the beach is beautiful.
