#1 of 11 Museums in Da Nang
Just one note - that place is quite expensive in compare with other museums in Da Nang
Fantastic artwork, we loved all the themes and every room was a great new surprise.. guides accompanied us around the museum and helped us with poses and ideas and took great photos of us.

Amazing museum where you can easy spend all morning, easy to find, closes over lunchtime like most museums in Vietnam.
It is well presented on the whole, though the general lack of maintenance and care of these important sites is a feature of Vietnamese museums - sadly.

... Ho Chi Minh Museum (Military Zone 5 Branch) and a replica of Ho Chi Minh's House on stilts form an impressive complex in a landscaped setting with displays of vehicles and weapons at the entrance to the museums.
I also visited the war museums in Ho Chi Min City but this museum is far more outstanding.

This museum that originates from the colonial period by French archeologists has been very well maintained, gives a excellent idea of the CHAM culture which thrived in Vietnam around the 7th century.
This is a very small museum that you can visit in about an hour but the art work and historical significance of the work from the ancient ruins is amazing.

I found it more informative than the museums in Saigon, Hue or Hanoi and was very surprised that there were only few visitors.
Unlike many museums in Asia where objects are just put on display, The DaNang City Museum provides information and context.

The Da Nang Fine Arts Museum showcases a robust and well curated collection of Vietnamese contemporary art, ceramics, and folk arts.
It is an excellent museum with 3 floors of arts of all kinds...ethnic arts from regional tribal groups, modern oils and lacquers, graphics, sculpture and some children's paintings.
