It was good to see and set in a lovely open area with lots of other things to see as you wander around old Ipoh.

it is an old colonial buidling and it is very well maintained on the outside. it was built sometime around 1908. i believe it might be owned by a tin miner. on the 1st floor is Arlene House but not sure what it is.

Perak Hydro Building is one of the interesting buildings on the Heritage Trail which you see mentioned on its map. It was built to house the electric company in the 1930s which was responsible for powering the booming tin industry in the area.
