Easy bus ride from Cebu City. Fantastic views, very romantic at night. Restaurant was good but not spectacular but you can't beat the atmosphere. Overall a great place to visit.

Located in the subdivision of Beverly Hills in Cebu City is the Philippine Taoist Temple. It is a place of worship that allows visitors to enter and enjoy the beautiful surrondings and sense of peace that fills the area. Photos of the buildings and various structures are permitted. However, photos are Not permitted inside the places of worship as a matter of respect for those who may be engaged in prayer. The design and artistry employed throughout the grounds is beautiful and if you are seeking a place to find solace, perhaps discernment, or just a quiet place to take in the scenery or see something different, the Taoist Temple is worth visiting. Parking is available at the foot of the grounds, and the entrance fee was only twenty pesos. We were there for just under an hour and were glad to have spent our time there.

The cross is cool but no more than a few minutes are needed. There are questions if this is the original cross or of the original is encased inside this one but it is still cool to visit. Lots of other sites to see in the area. It is near pier one so have a look if in the area.

Fort San Pedro is worth visiting while in Cebu. The fort is small so it does not take a whole lot of time, I'd say 30 minutes to an hour max. The entrance was cheap, although now I can't recall how much it was. Once inside, you are free to explore the grounds. There are a few information signs worth reading. You can also walk the walls on the upper level. Overall, I'd say Fort San Pedro is worth a visit.

The Temple of Leah has a nice history, a true love story. I found the building to be very beautiful as were all the belongings and artifacts. The overlook had some really nice views as well. I'd say this is a great place to visit if you touring other nearby sites, otherwise it is not really worth going out of your way for.

So many different types of foods. We went at night and it was a little crowded. Certainly worth a visit. The only thing is there was a lot of BBQ smoke but that goes with cooking the yummy food.

Apparently, this is the oldest Chinese house in Cebu and I was told “most is original”.

I am sceptical, the floorboards like more like 35 years old not 350 and nails were not around in the 1670s. The owners, I mam told, stay at weekends, but hard to see quite where since their bedroom looked very unoccupied.

One uncomfortable moment was in the garden where there is a harpist, who for a few peso, will play a little, at which three young children- aged between 4-7, dressed in traditional dress wake up (or are woken) from dozing in a nearby room and rush to perform a series of whirls and swirls. They don’t look happy and I felt this bordered on child abuse.

The harpist told me these were his children, so does this make it ok?

I enjoyed Colon Street more at night, during the day not much to see or do, unless you are looking at shopping a local shopping malls.

Lots to see and do around the area with monument and YAPS house. The oldest street in Cebu City and location of night markets.

Someone recommended seeing this Monument and Yap house a stones throw away. Great place to start sightseeing of area.

Didn’t do any research previously, but was fascinated by the size and the characters depicted. They look like bad ass Warriors and I was the only one there . Only about 5 minutes to look at and then make your way to Yap house!

We were surprised this house is located in an old warehouse but don’t let this fool you. Inside you find a nice house with a lot of information about the area, historic Cebu and the history of the family that once lived here.
We had a well informed and enthusiastic tour guide who explained everything very well.
    Worth a visit!

I go here frequently while Im on Cebu. I don't know why some people choose not to rebuild what they can . Currently the church is going on renovation to maintain their building to last longer and for the people to have a better sanctuary with God. Really peaceful place for praying. I like their candle place and prayer place.

24/7 Fuente Osmeña Circle is busy .. mostly with road traffic

Fuente Osmeña Circle .. is a large street roundabout , with a fenced park , in the centre

The treed park , with a monument , is used a lot for celebrations & by local school students to practice dance routines

Bridge connects Cebu City with island, great to see at night.

Does wonders for traffic flow in Cebu that is crazy busy all the time.
