- sket101lima971 contributionsWe stopped by on a quiet rainy afternoon and did a tasting with Kristen. It was a wonderful experience. She is very knowledgeable about the wines and could discuss with us the various flavors of the wine. She told us about the grapes and the winery. She was very engaging and helpful about sights to see in the area. The wines we tasted were very good. We highly recommend a stop at Long Point if you are in the area.Written 6 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dese2Auburn, NY3,632 contributionsThe Opendore, part of the Howland Stone Store complex is interesting and well worth the walk over to while at the stone store. As far as I know there is no entry fee.
The home is recently beautifully renovated with several rooms devoted to the area's history and the equal rights endeavors of local people. Several displays show the area and different periods of involvement in various historical events. The upstairs room has many displays focused on Women's Voting Rights and area leaders in the campaign.
It is truly beautiful. Parking is on a gravel lot at the side or along the road. Entry is at the front. Be sure to check for open hours before heading there.Written 19 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Actually saw some people wading in the water (despite posted no swimming signs lol). A very nice spot!Written 22 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Larry BAuburn, NY134 contributionsBe sure to read up on this before you go there, because there aren't a lot of signs and it really is worth a visit. This area was a "hotbed" of social activism between abolition, Underground Railroad, Quakerism and women's suffrage. There are lots of connections with Seneca Falls, Harriet Tubman, William Seward, Eliza Wright and early freedom seekers. It's a fascinating history. If it is summertime, be sure to plan your visit to coincide with Howland Stone Store Museum opening hours.Written 1 January 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - A.Bit.of.LuxApex, NC176 contributionsA large home goods and decor store with iconic designs, situated on the beautiful grounds of an old dairy farm. It’s a fun activity if you are in the finger lakes, especially for a girls’ weekend. It’s a great diversion for fans of the company’s unique designs. There are plenty of goods to choose from, and the annual barn sale has a great reputation for bargains. It is quite pricey, and some of the products are now made in China, but supposedly finished on-site. Worth a visit if you are in the area, looking for unique pieces for your home, or buying a gift for others. Give yourself time to visit the farm animals on property, and to admire the view of the lake from the expensive lawn. It’s a gorgeous property. The staff were nice and helpful during our visit.Written 27 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

We enjoyed the eucalyptus steam sauna and the inside and outside heated water pools and the cold-water plunge pool. The cafe opens at 11am for guests to enjoy complimentary soup and salad - and the salad bar has plenty of great options. Soup/Salad are free - they also have other items available for purchase. My massage therapist, Michelle T., was outstanding! Literally the best masseuse I've ever had. She was attentive and obviously cares about the guests and their massage experience. Robes and shoes are provided - they have lots of locker room amenities. Lockers provided - you set the code to open/close. The interior is bright and airy - very nice! Can't wait to return in the future!Written 24 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
