I loved this place, it was beautiful, magnificent, and a must-see!
I am so happy that I visited this place and had the experience.

I wish I had a guide to explain me more about each building but just seeing the place was also great.
Will totally come back to Moscow and red square!

Probably it’s the most iconic landmark in Moscow and in whole Russia. It’s easily recognizable thanks to its brilliant colours as well as the iconic onion-shaped domes.

If you’ve been in Japan - you had issue, that for different rails you need different tickets. Here the system is united. You can get around the whole Moscow. Time is precise. IOS App is great.

If you are an art lover, this gallery is simply amazing. I had my first visit yesterday, and will be going back. Probably multiple times. There is so much to see. Make sure to get the audio guide. It is well worth it, and provides great background.

I travelled Moscow on a New year eve. So at that time, there was freezing cold and also lot of crowd but even after so much of difficulties, the experience was surreal to be honest. That place has a special vibe to that and it reflects the history in itself.

The park is huge and has several buildings that can be visited. I recommend the Great Castle because it can see the architecture and life of Russia during Catherine the Second. The other two castles are ok, if you are interested in art be sure to visit them. There is a breathtaking golden hall in the Great Castle. Certainly the whole park is beautiful, in one part there is a lake around which one can remember and rest. There is a miniature museum in one section, but we have not visited it.

This is a must-do for a Russia visit. Book well in advance. We caught the inaugural show of that particular play. The atmosphere is electric with a boisterous audience showering the cast with bouquets at the end of the show. The production quality exceeds anything I’ve ever seen. The performance - left me speechless. It truly is an experience of a lifetime.

One of the iconic places on Red Square, a must-see.
It is not necessary to buy something, since the prices here are exorbitant, you can just walk around the floors, looking at the windows of expensive shops and elegant jewelry.
Be sure to try the locally produced ice cream in a waffle cone. Price 50 rub. for the big ball.
Soda "a la as in childhood" did not impress.
In addition to expensive boutiques, there is a grocery section with a beautiful layout and high prices.
As a place for an excursion, it is quite suitable.
There is even a historical toilet with an entrance fee of 200 rubles.

If you visit Moscow, YOU MUST TOUR THE ARMOURY!
Our guide met us in our hotel lobby. We walked to the Kremlin and over to the Armoury building. We had toured the Kremlin on the previous day so we bypassed any overview our guide may have wanted to offer. One thing I have learned with touring in Russia is that the large tour groups get out early, and if you can get ahead of them, you have a much greater chance of missing long lines or seeing sights without crowds of people in your way. The treasures in this museum were beautiful - from coronation gowns to carriages, clergy sacrament clothing, gifts to the church, gifts from worldwide ambassadors and the infamous Faberge Eggs. Our guide offered historical backdrop to the items, further rounding out our newfound knowledge of Imperial Russia history. We also toured the Diamond Fund in the same trip, which houses a wealth of the jewels and jewelry worn by royalty. This tour was my favorite of all Moscow tours.

I travelled the world but never saw a park that comes even close to this one. Very beautiful with tons of activities and great restaurants, it became a must for me to visit almost on daily basis when I am in Moscow. Amazingly, one can have an equally great time being there alone or with family, or with friends. Highly recommended.

    Nice panorama of the city.

    Very convenient from parking lot.

Right across from the university of Moscow so it’s sort of a two fer.

Well worth a stop if in the area but perhaps not a destination location.

Very impressive and educational museum! A must do when in Moscow! You get to see the history of space exploration, lots of unique artifacts, relics, Sputnik satellites and much more also Belka and Svelka (the 1st two Russian space dogs to survive). It is definitely a wonderful experience and very reasonable price!

The Pharmaceutical Garden is located near the Garden Ring next to the Prospekt Mira metro station.
I have long wanted to visit here, looking at the photos taken in early spring, when nothing blooms here yet.
The entrance ticket costs 300 rubles, on weekdays.
I had a lot of time, so I decided to go around all the intricately curved paths of the garden.

I started my detour on the right side, where a large number of wild-growing orchids of Russia are represented - a lady's slipper, an orchid and many others. Passed several types of magnolias in bloom.
Then I went to the heather hill, where many rhododendrons of different colors were blooming.
Then my attention was attracted by bright colored spots in the distance. To my surprise, there were colorful beds of tulips here. They have not yet faded, although it was already the beginning of June.
Some of the flower gardens reminded me a lot of the Dutch tulip park Keukenhof. Of course, the area and the number of tulips are not comparable, but at least they tried to reproduce something similar here.

Ducks with ducklings and elegant fire studs swam in the pond. A variety of lilacs bloomed nearby, including the famous «Beauty of Moscow», as well as other beautifully flowering bushes of all colors and shapes.

It began to rain and I went to the palm greenhouse. Here is the oldest collection of tropical plants in Russia. Humid, warm, palm trees, hanging vines, all this reminded me of the tropical forests of those countries where I managed to visit.

I really liked the exposition with carnivorous plants. It is small in area, but very high-tech.
In a small swamp, replenished with osmosis water, you can see a wide variety of insectivorous plants - sundews, venus flytraps, butterworts and others. All this is wrapped in a mist of distilled water. Looking at all this, I understood why the sundew, which we bought with our youngest son, died so quickly.
In the next room there is an exhibition of collectible rhododendrons, on the second floor there is a large number of a wide variety of cacti and other succulents.
Another greenhouse was completely shrouded in mist. Japanese koi carps swam in the pond, a wide variety of exotic plants grew.
In total, I spent more than 2 hours here and did not want to leave at all.
    Definitely worth a visit!

If you have time, not on the top of your list by any means, but if you have extra time or near Gorky Park, go. I think I spent about 1-1.5 hours here, but probably could have spent longer. But I didn't want to waste too much time. But anyway, it is a good museum, modern, and very interesting for some of the work. Go if you have extra time, if not, when you come back to Russia a second time, then go. If you miss it, no big deal. But interesting nevertheless.
