Fantastic food tour around a couple of more local neighbourhoods in KL. Food was great, and Kiran was a great guide and gave loads of context and interesting history of Malaysia

We have done the day time hop on hop off bus tours before in KL but the night light tour was new. The selection of lights were the most famous - KL Tower, Petronas Towers, King’s Palace, British Colonial Buildings.
Overseas visitors paid more for the tour than Malaysian’s but the locals got all the seats in the open section of the bus.
Hence trying to take photos was difficult through the windows due to the reflection.
Also, it was stated if you left your seat anytime, anyone could take it, so no one in the open section of the bus got off at any of the sites. Overseas visitors had to get off the bus to take decent photos.
The advantage of the tour was the convenience of being taken to the sites rather than catching a taxi or grab.
A better idea would be to have two buses one for locals and one for overseas visitors.

We really enjoyed this food tour. Manjeet led us through the vibrant streets of KL to various food stalls and restaurants, letting us taste meals as well as snacks and desserts. We tried a great variety of excellent food. Manjeet is not only knowledgeable about the food, but also about history, religion and culture, which made this tour very interesting.
We had a very enjoyable few hours and would definitely recommend this tour.

Faris was amazing. We ate a lot more than what was advertised, definitely bring your appetite. Faris took us on a multicultural journey of food through all of the ethnicities of Malaysia. We even tried some hard to find snacks and ended up with some great recommendations to which we tried the next day. If you were thinking about booking a tour with Faris, dont think just book him.

Fizah and Roman are a lovely couple! The cooking class is done in their lovely home with their 3 cats (Toby, Hobo and Milly) and son. Felt welcomed in their home to the point that we had forgotten that we even paid for the experience as we felt treated like a long time friend!
We had made Nasi Lemak from Fizah's family recipe with the best ever Sambal you can ever taste. They are able to accommodate with other dietary requirements if informed in advance such as for vegetarians, vegans and gluten free! Everything is laid out for you and assisted in making the recipe and Fizah also sends out the recipe after the class in order to recreate it at your own home to share this lovely dish with friends and family.
A wonderful experience that I could not recommend enough for small groups!

We do a cooking class in every country we visit and this was one of our favorites. The market tour was fun and enhancing, learnt a lot and tasted some interesting fruits and a delicious roti.

Our chef Saadiah was truly passionate about conveying what she learnt from her mother and grandmother about traditional Malay cooking.

We cooked a Kapitan Chicken curry from scratch (hard work but so delicious!), as well as the sweet Pulut Panggang, a local delicacy with coconut and chili. We made our own lace pancakes (roti Jala) as well as the sweet glutinous rice balls filled with palm sugar called Onde Onde.

After cooking we savoured the dishes and make sure to come hungry as it’s a lot of food you will get.

Really great experience that we definitely recommend!

This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Malaysia!
Our guides Charles and Carlson first took us to the local night market where we could taste several freshly made local snacks. We tasted delicious products we never would have chosen ourselves. And even our teenagers loved it!
Our second stop was in Little India where we walked through the shopping street (no pressure to buy something) and tasted a few Indian dishes and drinks.
Afterwards we visited Chinatown and practised our chopstick-skills.
Carlson and Charles made it a wonderful evening with lots of fun, great pictures and even a TikTok dance with the kids.
    Great memories!! Thank you, guys!

Great personalised tour conducted by our friendly guide, Aris. Took in lots of sights, from the slightly chaotic Chinatown market to the spectacular Petronas Towers. Caught up in severe traffic congestion on the way to Chinese temple, due to Chinese new year celebration but Aris worked an hour past his scheduled finish time to make sure that we caught all the sights on the programme, which was much appreciated.

It was fun and amazing hands-on experience. I was joined with a couple from Poland with their daughter. We get to make Four Angled bean salad, Nasi Lemak, Chicken Rendang, Teh Tarik (Pulled Tea), Ondeh-Ondeh.
The cooking class was held at Sara’s mother house. Her mother was friendly and welcomes all visitors with opened arms. All the ingredients were prepared and ready in the kitchen. We just do the cutting, slicing, cooking and finally eat our self-made delicious meal. Sara provides easy cooking guides, gives lots of tips how to get good ingredients, and instructions how to cook.
At the end of the day, not only you leave with a filled stomach, and comes with a cooking booklet with step-by-step instructions.

We ( a group of 4 adults) all really enjoyed this tour, our driver was fantastic and very knowledgeable, we saw all the main sites and did this on our first night so didn't bother with any other sightseeing tours during the day as its too hot and this ticked all the boxes
KL is very very busy so having someone take us around was perfect

We had a wonderful tour this morning with Stephen. This is a great way to see an area of KL that you may not otherwise find on your own as well as get an understanding of the culture of the area through food. It was a very well balanced tour with food and site seeing and Stephen is a great guide!

Our guides were alot of fun and we had a great night with them eating an assortment of delicious local foods - buns, satay, spring chicken, rice etc. We also enjoyed the city sites by night including the temple all lit up with great views of KL and the palace and of course twin towers. Enjoyed learning about the culture and seeing the city by night x
