Your ticket is only for a specific time and it forms part of a 20 ticket group, who all enter together (even onto the large single lift) which takes you (firstly) to the "bridge" between the two towers. I believe that this choice of words is misleading and may lead the purchaser to think it is worth paying more through Trip Advisor. We’ve been on food tours around the world, and this one with Manjeet stands out as an unforgettable experience, thanks to her knowledge, charisma, and attention to detail.
Manjeet is a true gem—her deep understanding of the local cuisine, culture, and history made this tour more than just about eating. She listened intently to what we liked and tailored the experience to ensure it was perfect for us. Each stop was thoughtfully planned, with just enough time between tastings to savor, digest, and explore the vibrant streets of Kuala Lumpur. Manjeet’s connections in the community were evident, as every shop owner greeted her warmly, making us feel like VIPs wherever we went.
The food itself was exceptional. From the tangy explosion of pani puri to the comforting flavors of beef rendang (minang style), every dish told a story. Highlights included the creamy nasi lemak with northern-style chicken rendang, the buttery goodness of roti canai, and the fragrant curry laksa. Manjeet also introduced us to local fruits like mangosteen, snake fruit, rambutan, rose apple, and longan, which were a delightful discovery. To top it off, the sweet indulgences of pulut tai tai with kaya and pineapple jam tarts perfectly balanced the savory dishes. And let’s not forget the classic kopi C, which gave us a taste of Malaysia’s coffee culture.
What set this tour apart was how Manjeet seamlessly combined food with storytelling. As she walked us through the Central Market and surrounding areas, she shared the rich history of Kuala Lumpur, the stories behind each dish, and the cultural significance of the places we visited. It felt less like a tour and more like being guided through the city by a knowledgeable friend.

The ladies in the Batik Factory was so nice and helpful. The Batu Caves was incredible and breathtaking experience. (Get ready for the 274 steps)!

- Erich DSan Antonio, TX9 contributionsOnce we got the tickets, the lifts to the viewing platforms was quick. The views are breathtaking and unmatched. If you are in Kuala Lampur definitely do this. I was slightly amazed by all the high end hotels in the vicinity of the Petronas Towers.
Now, buying through TripAdvisor/Viator was more complicated than it should have been. The app would only show a confirmation page, and all the emails that said E-Tickets directed to that non ticket.
Install WhatsApp, make sure it’s tied the phone number you give at booking. The tickets are sent on WhatsApp, not email. - Tour379622Perth, Australia3 contributionsI would have rated this higher but the trip was spoilt by our transport, which broke down on the way to the highlands and the replacement bus on the way back had brake issue (not what you want on a steep descent) which saw us wait on the side of a very busy road for them to cool down.
Our guide (sorry his name escapes me) was very knowledgeable about the history of Kuala Lumpur and he was very friendly and helpful all day long.
There are lots and lots and lots of shops at the top of the cable car but the outlets, which are cheaper, are at the bottom.

Honest, polite, chatty, attentive and a good sense of humour.
The waterfalls and springs were lovely to see. If I was in more of an "immersive" mood, I would've dipped in but the weather was poor. The caves were an incredible spectacle to see, well worth the journey. A few hidden surprises of the fabric shop and metallic factory were a great addition to the tour, also.
Lunch was very tasty, always good to try new food in new ways.
Dropped off with no hassle, even when the traffic started to get busy.
