- Tour379622Perth, Australia3 contributionsI would have rated this higher but the trip was spoilt by our transport, which broke down on the way to the highlands and the replacement bus on the way back had brake issue (not what you want on a steep descent) which saw us wait on the side of a very busy road for them to cool down.
Our guide (sorry his name escapes me) was very knowledgeable about the history of Kuala Lumpur and he was very friendly and helpful all day long.
There are lots and lots and lots of shops at the top of the cable car but the outlets, which are cheaper, are at the bottom.

We did the tour on a Sunday and the driver advised us of the order of activities due to it being a weekend and traffic. My favourite was fireflies and Batu caves. We all are fussy eaters and even this was caterd for. Our driver Mr Sathis was very knowledgeable. - Barbara G3 contributionsThis tour was a great way to get our bearings when we first arrived in Kuala Lumpur. Being whisked to major points of interest with time for photos was so good.
And having our Petronas Twin Towers Tour organised with drop off and pick up took away the stress of getting there and back. The Twin Towers tour is a must see when visiting.

The highlight was definitely the tree plantation, where we had 1,5 hours to walk around, take pictures and embark on a short hike. Extremely beautiful and scenic, especially when the weather is good. The lunch, served in a former colonial mansion which is now a golf club, was excellent. The waterfall was okay, but nothing too impressive, as well as the Agro Market, which was rather boring, to be honest. Nonetheless, they had a place where you can feed parrots, which fly to you and land on your arm, so you can take cool pictures. This was pretty cool. The strawberries from the market nearby are also a must-try since they are the trademark of the region. I find the price for a solo traveler (80+ USD) too high, I find it unfair that I had to pay the price for 2 people to be able to join, and I was not the only one in this situation. He was also fantastic at taking lots of photos of us at the famous sights, which is something we don't normally get together. Chen was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, we felt like we had made a good friend by the end of the tour! We would highly recommend this tour, Chen is a top bloke and you really won't be disappointed. He also gave us tips for the places we were going to next in Malaysia. We will definitely recommend this tour to all our friends and family visiting KL. I have traveled extensively to almost 37 countries and this was definitely one of my favorite tours. I will definitely recommend Janice to others as well as this amazing tour company. It was only Stephanie’s 2nd time out of the United States, and she was soo very happy, wanting to travel more! Soo thank you sooo much to Janice and Forever Vacation!!
