Nadia was a fantastic guide with so much information on the area and all the different types of food we tried. I had a brilliant time and can only recommend this experience!

Our food tour with Siddoz was great not only for eating the wide variety of food on offer but also learning more about Malaysia as a country and its culture. He was also very accommodating with our two kids, one with a peanut allergy. Definitely recommend.

We undertook a food tour with Siddoz which exposed us to the very many varied cuisines available in Kuala Lumpar, and he proved to be a very knowledgeable food host. Along with his offsider trainee guide Raja, we learnt a great deal about not just the food, but what goes into it, and the endless variety of what we might consider to be the nasi, mee, and ayam classics, and so on. Trying everything from unusual small cakes, flavoursome tea, various forms of laksa, tasting noodles everywhere from the real back street food scene to the new and upmarket, the night did not lack from a variety of foods and tastes. The tour also had the advantage of being able to be experienced within a short walking distance so the time was well spent. On a final note, bring your appetite. There's a lot to try and experience!

Alvin was a very good guide, knowledgable and introduced the different parts of the city center and some historical background of the places. I was the only customer and he still held the tour for me, I really appreciate it.
I’d recommend his tour to people who enjoy walking and getting to know KL.

The guide - First of all, a big thank you to our guide Denny who went above and beyond showing us all the well kept cocktail bar secrets. We loved knowing him, his history but also the history of this town as well of Malaysia.

The tour - the different things you taste along the way is yummy for your tummy. The cocktails are also very nice. And then a couple of views we got along the way. You will get full that’s a promise.

And more - he took the time for us and showed us much more. We went back to the tips he gave us. It’s was really worth it.

It’s a little bit different kind of food tour and we loved it and would do it again. So when in KL this is a great way to start in the big hectic city.

We actually went to on two trips with Paul because of how great he was. The other trip we went on was the Malacca Day Trip. He was on time and made sure we were comfortable and prepared for the whole tour. The cave itself was amazing and we recommend booking this tour with Paul

The trip was well organised and with a good variety of activities. We enjoyed it. The last stage of the journey to the resort is by river in a motorised canoe, arriving at a large and very comfortable resort lodge at the main entry to the National Park. Accommodation is in individual two person cabins with air conditioners and western style toilets and nicely finished in timber and woven rattan with a rustic appearance but very comfortable. This is not bush camping. Meals are mostly included and are in the open air restaurant where snacks and drinks can also be purchased at reasonable prices. The food is good and includes Malay, Indian and Western dishes. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Supplies like insect repellant can be bought in the Mini-Mart. The night walk was the best opportunity to see wildlife and many people come to the resort just for this walk - although most of our sightings were just in and around the resort and included close encounters with monkeys, a wild boar and many smaller creatures. The instructions for the trip do need updating. Most of the canopy walk has re-opened in the last month (Nov 2019) after a year out of operation and operates six days a week (not Fridays), although it closes for safety during rain or storms. The canopy walk is quite adventurous - a narrow suspension footbridge suspended 50 m up in the canopy. We took presents for the visit to the Orang Asli village as suggested, but nobody else did and since there are many more visitors each day than there are villagers it really would not be a good idea for everybody to take presents of biscuits etc. It would be much better if the resort were to organise a fund to assist with the children's educational expenses and seek donations. Lastly, best to ignore the suggestion to take a fishing rod. We went to some trouble to obtain and take one, only to find that there was very little opportunity for fishing and it caused some embarassment with the Malay staff who culturally find it difficult to say "no." It took four days of questions to finally establish that fishing is not allowed on Fridays, it is not allowed on rivers within the National Park and there is not really any easy access for fishing on the main river, Sungei Temberling, unless you hire a boat. There are fish in the main river which the locals catch with nets so if you are keen you might have success - but this is not a fishing trip.

It was so so good! We booked last minute and Emily was able to accommodate! We really enjoyed it and Emily helped us make some content too! She also provided us with a lot of help that was not included in our workshop. We are very appreciative of her

If you would like to get a window into the real Kuala Lumpur then going on this tour is a must! The sights, sounds and especially smells of Chow Kit market will stay with you long after the tour has ended. With Jackie we had an opportunity to taste ingredients and prepared foods from Indian, Chinese and Malay cuisine. The wide range of foods was paired with history as well as discussions around current life in KL. Thank you Jackie for an informative and thoroughly enjoyable 4 hours!
