I had a quick walk through here and it's cool to see. It has abit of information about the history of KL, a huge model of the whole city of KL which shows how big the city is. A nice cafe looked popular and afew good photo spots with I love KL. Free also which was handy.

When we talk about museum, mostly is about history and arts. This trendy Bank Negara Museum showcase the history of finance-how Bank Negara made money, the versions of classic money and also got some art paintings by famous artist at the upper floor.

We came across this little museum on the way to somewhere else and decided to pop in. It was a very interesting museum, lots of information and many exhibits well displayed. An impressive display of weaponry. Well worth a visit

Excellent displays of various techniques for weaving and embroidery used by peoples of Malysia. Great way to get a visual idea of the diversity of clothing designs and their inspiration. It only costs about 5RM to enter. Highly recommended.

In April 2023 you will be able to reach the museum by the new subway line. The collections are extensive and interesting showcasing well local art from several decades. Most impressive in the current exhibition was the installation by Red Hong Yi "Once upon a longtang" paying tribute to her vanishing family home in Shanghai.

Part of the governement subsidied Craft Complex now in the middle of a huge construction site the museum is waiting for a new display in February. Judging from the previous it isn't much to expect, this is a very oldfashioned establishment. There is a textile museum at the corner of Merdeka square in central KL showing more of the local craft techniques.

It is a hidden gem. If you love history and museum - then it is a must do place. Not only local music instruments and gurus are show-cased here - but all amazing master pieces from across globe are.

I stumbled upon on it on my way back from Merdeka square. I was feeling bit flu-ish. I decided to seek little rest in an air-conditioned oasis. Entrance was free - Air-conditioning was great.

It is a small museum perhaps you need around 1 hour. But displays are interesting and educational. Best part is that the place was deserted and I took as much time I can without noise of crowds.

Located in a bungalow off Jalan Imbi and a road away from Jalan Tun Razak, near RHB Building is this Jade Museum. It is more a shop than a museum but there are some exquisite and museum grade jade pieces from the owner's personal collection. There is not much information displayed here but there is a poster explaining the grading scale of jade. The museum is open from 9 am - 5pm and admission is free.
