I feel obliged to publish this review in order to give potential visitors a more balanced view of the centre.

We visited on a weekday with young children, and they had a fun morning exploring all the interactive exhibits. The entrance fee is low (free for kids 6 and under!). There were a few visiting kindergartens and primary schools but it was still large enough that the crowds moved through quickly enough for everyone to have a go.

There are some exhibits with set timings, so it's worth finding out what those are at the entrance to better plan your trip. Overall a good way to spend a few hours learning in a fun way with your kids.

We found the museum without any major problems, but when we went to enter, the security guards sitting outside the gates asked for our passports. We thought it was a bit odd, but assumed he was just going to write the details down as a record of visitors before giving us the pass, but he actually wanted to keep hold of it whilst we were in the museum. Given the current hullabaloo about stolen passports in Asia, the fact that they wanted to keep hold of it sounded alarm bells for us, so we decided not to go into the museum.

It's a shame, as it looks like it could be quite interesting, but I don't think it's worth the risk of leaving the passport unattended with strangers.
