Very nice relaxing short evening cruise to nowhere. Simple juice n banana cake served onboard. Satay was available at RM10 for 5 sticks. Reasonable considering they BBQ it onboard.

The jacuzzi at the rear of the boat was somehow not too inviting. It was a rope netting held by some bars and u dip in it.

Kids loved running up n down the vessel.

Our tour guide was fantastic. For us the highlight was a stopover to feed the monkeys. So much fun. Dinner at the restaurant was great and of course the boat trip to see the fireflies was fun.

When you visit Putrajaya do not forget to avail the boat tour. This gives a chance to have a look at the beautiful bridges and the building surrounding the lake. The lake is manmade and there is tour guide on the cruise who explains in bilingual the details of the structures.

This place is a hidden gem only established in recent years. The experienced photographers coming along spent an hour taking great photos totally to your satisfaction. Friends seeing our photos are all surprised to the quality, the mirror effect.

This tour is a great option for a night.

Sri Shakti temple was a cool temple to visit, different from Sri Mariamman and Batu Caves that you'll see in other tours. Uniquely, it is not brightly painted like other Hindu temples. Very interesting to see.

Feeding/petting monkeys was a lot of fun; they are adorable and friendly. Costs maybe 1 or 2$ to buy food for them.

The restaurant was a Thai restaurant on the waterfront. We had sweet and sour fish, some kind of pork and vegetables, and fried rice (I'm guessing with Jasmine). Very, very good. It also allowed a fantastic view of the sunset.

We did not visit the lighthouse on Bukit Melawati. I'm not sure if it was from time constraints or some other factor. However, it hardly mattered as from the description of the tour, you can't go inside anyway.

The highlight of the tour was (of course) seeing the fireflies and the glowing water at night. I've never seen so many fireflies, nor have I seen water that glows as it goes into motion. I still don't know (and havene't researched) why it glows like that, but it's sure cool to see.

Finally, our tour guide Hery/Harry (not sure how to spell it, since we received emails from someone spelling it Hery) was a fantastic tour guide. Very funny and always joking. Excellent guide.

You can’t really call it a tour, more of a really expensive taxi service to be honest. You just get dumped at one beach and left to your own devices. It would have been nice to be taken to a couple of beaches. Not worth it.
