We were at the Gretzky Hockey School, it was our first time at Ford Ice Center and it was great. We found the common areas to be very spacious and was able to accommodate all of the families. The snack bar was great... lots of selections, food was really good and the staff was very friendly. The pro shop was well stocked with different brands and equipment, we purchased a new hockey stick for grandson. They also cut and taped our stick.

I used the facility study room during my graduate program. The room was spacious, private, peaceful, and clean.

Best kept secret. Inexpensive Fun! The owner is Great! The owner seems pretty passionate about making this place fun. Had a party here a year ago and the kids (6th & 7th graders) loved it. Bumper cars and laser tag kept them busy for hours. Best for a group or family! Pizza is pretty good as well. Game cards are reasonable. Love that the place keeps expanding too. Safe area and friendly. A minute from the Ice Center too. A great way to have fun all day.

This was a beautiful course, no doubt.

However, when we got to the clubhouse, I told the person in the pro shop that we had never played there and we were visiting f/ NC. Knowing this, not one single person told us that the greens had been top-dressed a few days prior nor that they had sprayed chemicals on the greens that same day. We were really p'od! Frankly, we should have been given a better break on the green fees; $50 pp was sky-high given the condition of the greens. That was a disservice to us, and it left us not wanting to go back.

Due to all the rain, it was cart path only that day. It would have been nice IF we had been told that the area beside the greens are hills, and the cart paths do not pass close to the greens. You either are climbling up or down to the greens all day long. We're both very athletic ppl, but this coupled w/ cart path only play was just too much....... and the ugly greens to boot!

The one really cool thing is they do offer free snacks w/ green fees.
