It's a very beautiful place that I love to visit whenever I have opportunity. - duckvaderGlasgow, UK214 contributionsExcellent! Very well laid out, happy and helpful staff. We didn't do a tour - there were 4 of us and did a walk-about. Well marked from beginning to end. Beer at the start and another two as you go (all different but they were all delicious). You get to keep the little glass as a reminder you've been there. Nice touch!
Having been to a few beer distilleries in the past, this is certainly one of the more interactive , informative and engrossing. Reminded me very much of Heinekens museum in Amsterdam, now owned of course by Ambev who own Bohemia.
Anyway, great hour or so to learn about the history of beer but also understanding the whole process. The building was started in 1884 and opened in 1925. Inside there is a pipe organ, and some delightful stained glass. The building feels quite light and airy. The beer is awsome and the Brewmaster knows what he's talking about.
He got his mastercraftman's diploma for brewery in Austria/Germany.

Wear your sneakers as a little bit of hiking is involved. The road up the mountainside is a bumpy dirt road so go slow and anticipate cars coming the other way.
