    Best way to see the city
    Luis skillfully matched to tour to our interests and pace. We had been travelling the country and were pretty tired by this point. My fiancé is Brazilian and I’m Canadian and Luis was amazing at navigating the city in a way that made it feel new to both of us.
    His experiences showed as he knew the perfect timing to visit popular spots and how everybody knew his name wherever we went. We felt safe and like we were being welcomed by family everywhere. We did the Redeemer, a driving tour of the historic buildings, guided tasting of local foods in a huge market along with a stunning visit to the botanical gardens. We saw the steps, had the cities best Feijouada and so many little nuggets in between. He made great recommendations so we could navigate the rest of our time in Rio efficiently and his passion for this city really makes seeing it through his eyes wonderful.

    Travessia Petrópolis-Teresópolis in February
    Great agency for nature-lovers. They offer a wide variety of packages. A bit on the pricier side, however they delivered 100%. Great communication. Flawless organisation. Plus, they provided for equipment that I didn't have myself. I did the "Travessia Petrópolis-Teresópolis" out of season and they still organised a private guide for me who is a native of Petrópolis and therefore knew the area inside and out. It was fantastic. And the weather-gods did the rest, as it hardly rained. As to the trek itself, it was a rather challenging one but I wouldn't miss out on this great experience, breathtaking views. I greatly recommend the agency and the trek. Thank You.

    Day tour to the National Park outside of Rio
    Today my wife and I had the pleasure of doing a tour with Luis Darin to the Parque Nacional serra dos orgaos, which is outside of Rio. It is an area probably not frequented by most foreign tourists, which is part of its appeal. It is a rain-forest area, that in the mountains, and so cooler and not as humid as Rio.

    Luis was first class in every way, and we can thoroughly him as guide. His knowledge of Brazilian history and culture was very enlightening, and he also has a good knowledge of birds and general wildlife, which of particular interest to my wife, as she is a keen birder.

    If you choose to use the services of Luis, you won't be disappointed. Luis, if you are reading this, thanks again, and very well done!
