    A Fantastic Day Tour Around Guayaquil, Ecuador
    A wonderful way to learn about and explore Ecuador/Guayaquil. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly and infinitely patient with our group of 7. Our tour covered the dry jungle where we saw howler monkeys (and dodged mosquitos in our mosquito nets and DEET), mangroves (on a long, canoe-like boat) where we saw a multitude of bird and other wildlife, and a visit to a working Cocoa farm/ranch where we learned all about growing, refining and finishing chocolate. The lunch served at the Cocoa farm was fantastic local fare, including a ceviche to die for! Highly recommended.

    Amazing day!
    James was an exceptional guide! The farm was beautiful and we learned so much about the chocolate making process. The lunch served at the "castle" was amazing! I highly recommend this experience!

    See the true Ecuador
    My goal for this trip was to visit and become in touch with my ancestry. Allyson knew exactly what to do. She helped me discover what Ecuador was and is as a country and instilled pride.
    Along the way Allyson becomes more than a guide and you can see how in love she is with Ecuador. Her love and passion for Ecuador becomes contagious. She makes me want to come back and learn more about Ecuador. She’s the only guide I will ever need in Ecuador. She’s the real deal. I wish every country I visited had someone like Allyson guiding me.

    Excellent Tour
    This was one of the best 1/2 day tours that I have done. The tour was relaxed but very informative. Guide was superb. Her knowledge was excellent. The hands on approach added to the experience. Food ( either picked from the trees or lunch) was very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour.

    Amazing Experience
    If you have a full day in Guayaquil, you need to go on this tour. It was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos. Mario is truly the best guide I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! The cocoa farm was an incredible experience- we got to make our own chocolate and then enjoyed a delicious three course lunch. All the ingredients were either grown/raised on the farm or nearby (right down to the sugar for the coffee!). Mario was able to accommodate my food restriction so I could enjoy a delicious meal. We also got to make our own chocolate bars to take home with us. Afterwards, we enjoyed a tour of downtown Guayaquil, including the cathedral, iguana park, and the 444 steps. Mario shared the beautiful history of Ecuador and also provided us with great recommendations of places to eat during our last day in Guayaquil (which we ended up trying and enjoying). Mario us so knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating. I highly HIGHLY recommend this experience!!!

    We had a great time!
    Our guide, Noi. I am not sure if I’m spelling, his name correctly, was excellent! He was super friendly, very intelligent, and knows a lot of people. I would highly recommend him.

    Enjoyable tour showing the highlights of the city
    We were impressed with our guide's, Corina, knowledge of the city and her English skills. Plus, the fact she self-taught herself in a total of three languages. We enjoyed our tour and gave us a good layout of the city. We felt very safe.

    Worth an extra day in Guayaquil!!
    I was extremely happy with my experience. I made last minute plans and Jamil was able to put together a nice day trip to the Cerro Blanco forest and to a cacao plantation. It was a private tour and Jamil was very accommodating. If you are stopping in Guayaquil on the way to the Galapagos spend an extra day in the city and one more doing a tour like this. Very worthwhile! Thanks!

    Adventure of the century!!
    Our experience with Simon and Orlando was fantastic!! I highly recommend for anyone who wants a true adventure! I saw bright green parrots high in the trees, a pair of Howler monkeys (first for me!!) and the number of spectacular water birds on the river were mind blowing🥳

    Great Guayaquil City and Historic Park tour
    Mario

    We booked a Guayaquil day tour including the Historic Park on the My Trip To Ecuador website.  Mario responded to the contact form on the website within a few hours.  He promptly answered all my questions about shared and private tours he offers and booking and PayPal payment were super easy.

    For the tour the SUV he used for 2 of us was clean and comfortable.  Mario was on time and explained the day's stops. 

    Throughout  the tour he was informative without being boring or talking too much.  He was flexible.  For example, since it was just two of us we asked him to take us to a local restaurant of his choosing where the locals go for lunch,  he picked a small place that was all we wanted. And later in the afternoon, we wanted to take a short break in the afternoon and enjoy a coffee.   No problem at all, and while having a coffee we enjoyed our chat about owning and operating a travel business in a pandemic.

    Mario was conversational, informative, easy going, promptly responds to emails, and spoke English well and with ease.  It was  a great tour.  Would definitely recommend.

    A+ transportation service between Guayaquil and Cuenca
    Driver was excellent (even when the roads weren't great). He picked us up on time and was very courteous. He pointed out places of interest and even stopped so we could photograph llamas. I appreciated that on the return trip for my guests, I received a text letting me know they had arrived safely at the airport.

    Nice tour for a great price
    Luis was very nice and communicated well prior to the tours departure. The tour was good and informative lasting about an hour and forty-five minutes. They give you fair warning so listen and watch out for the tree branches. They gave a complimentary ice water before leaving which is a nice touch. My only suggestion is that they get those voice boxes that give the tour in other languages as well. You can’t beat it for the price. I would recommend booking through them directly (parque “las iguanas” or malecón stop) in cash for less ($5), though even with trip advisors mark up it was still a great deal.
