Nice place to walk. Many small shops down the whole street. Try taking a walk in the morning and evening. There will be different things to see.

Go on a Friday Saturday or Sunday night from 6-11pm and there will be a night market available. Good place to shop for bargains and cute items. Many street food to try out too. Good place to buy souvenirs for the trip

Splendid Experience visiting the museum that has a lot of story behind it. Despite it is a little smaller than we expected however the museum itself has a lot of incredible things from big to small details that's really soothing for us.

Would be best to watch the movie series called " Little Nyonya" as the series is based on real story from the museum and also the serie was also filmed on the museum .

I really hope to visit the museum one more time but it's hard to bring elder to the second level of the museum so it's really limited for wheel chair access

    There was a refreshing breeze.
Look for the big sea lizards swimming and lounging about.
You can take a relaxing river cruise.
    Cute restaurants and sights.

It’s a short but fairly steep climb to the top of the hill, but well worth the effort even if only for the view over Melaka to the sea. The church is not a total ruin as the walls are fairly well preserved. The sign boards give a clear understanding of the varying periods of use of the building. There are numerous well preserved tomb stones one of which commemorates Nicolaus Basly who ‘in his life was a free citizen’, indicating that others were not.

Like one of the other reviewers, we were lucky to have Eddie as our tour guide - a tour arranged in advance by Trailfinders. He was immensely knowledgeable, well known in his locale, humorous and conscious of the fact that the day was hot and humid and we had only arrived the day before. The tour took in Dutch Square, with the statue to Queen Victoria in the centre. We visited Christ church and the ruins of St Paul's from which there are fantastic views of the city with the Straits in the distance.

It's a fun walk especially getting sun warmth while you were walking along the river and discovering more interesting place as you go.

Walked around for a day at the Red Square locations and visited all the various sites. The standout was this museum located next to Christ Church. It has an interesting range of artifacts and displays covering the known history of Malacca. Small coffee shop is inside for you to take a break. We felt this was the best thing to visit during our stay in the city.
