The waterfalls in La Fortuna, Costa Rica, are absolutely breathtaking and a must-see for nature lovers. The most famous waterfall in the area, La Fortuna Waterfall, is a stunning cascade surrounded by lush rainforest. The hike down to the base of the waterfall offers spectacular views of the surrounding landscape and is well worth the effort. The cool, refreshing waters at the base of the waterfall are perfect for swimming and provide a welcome respite from the tropical heat. The sound of the rushing water and the mist in the air create a truly magical atmosphere. Additionally, the area is well-maintained with facilities for visitors, making it a comfortable and enjoyable destination for all. Visiting the waterfalls in La Fortuna was a highlight of my trip to Costa Rica, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the beauty of the country's natural wonders.

My husband and I did the Waterfall Rappelling activity in the morning and then after lunch went on a tour of the Mistico Hanging Bridges with Byron as our guide. The whole day was wonderful! The rappelling activity was a bit intense at times, but Kendell, Byron, Cesar, and Elder were wonderful, fun, careful guides and helped me feel safe throughout the experience. Byron was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide at the hanging bridges whose love of botany was infectious. Thanks for a great day!

This place was great! We also did zip lining in Monteverde and thought this AMA zip line was the best in terms of safety and value for money. It didn’t feel rushed and there wasn’t much standing around, the pace was great. It was so cool to go zip lining over the waterfall, the lines were really high up and long. The guides were really fun too and were great with our kids, they absolutely loved it. Definitely recommend combining it with the horse ride at the end, it was a very cheap add on and the kids loved the ride so much. They were great to deal with for the booking as well, we booked very last minute and it was seamless.

We did the La Fortuno waterfall, Volcano, and Hanging Bridges combo. They picked us up at our resort (Arenal Manoa). Our tour guide, Angelica, was very knowledgeable and made the hike very interesting. She explained the history of volcano/area, she pointed out interesting facts along the trail and took pictures of our family and friends. Our group agreed that our experience would not have been nearly as good if we had just done the volcano hike on our own. We did the waterfall next (500 steps down and back up) and took a break for lunch. We enjoyed the other couples we met and had great conversations over lunch. We did the Hanging Bridges last. We saw much wildlife in the park. It was a great day! I would advise you to make sure you are in shape if you decide to pick the 3 areas in one day tour. (I was definitely sore the following day.) Lots of climbing/stairs at all the areas we visited. If you aren't as fit, pick the 1 or 2 area tours.

Loved it! Carlos Sanchez was great! Saw sloths and other wildlife. He was knowledgeable with wildlife and I felt very safe in the raft with him as our guide!

My first time and this was amazing! So much fun. The guides are very knowledgeable and experienced so don't feel scared. There were children in rafters so it's for all ages. A must do when you're in CR! Juan was our bus guide and Allan was in our raft. Both gentlemen were so nice and fun! Book this trip! I'm sorry we didn't have enough cash for tip!!! Thank you to both guys!

It turned about to be a long. 6 hrs total in a very uncomfortable bus. The baldi spa was ok. All of the pools went from Hot to extremely Hot. No pools to cool down in. Was there for 4 hours and got bored. Can only my stay in a spa setting for so long.

Neifryn was my guide on the coffee, chocolate and sugar cane tour. It was fun, I learnt some interesting facts. I tasted the white flesh of the cocoa pods for the first time, ate roasted cocoa beans and drank some delicious freshly made hot chocolate from beans grown on their small farm. I also saw some interesting animals
    - lizards, birds and also a baby sloth climbing down a tree (very lucky).

We had an excellent 7.30am - 2.30pm tour with our guide Isaac to the Hanging bridges and a volcano hike. Isaac is a very knowledgeable guide and we learnt a lot about the history and geology of this area and the natural habitat. Through his experience we were able to see an amazing range of insects, reptiles, birds and animals. The tour finished with a really delicious Costa Rican lunch.
