- Samantha SGeorge Town, Grand Cayman5 contributionsVery impressed with our tour/visit. Anita was our guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly and made the visit a very special memory. The farm is family owned. You feel very welcome and we all learned so much. We had two adults and two children (Aged 12 and 8) and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time with Anita and at the farm.

Puerto Jimenez is surrounded by rainforest and beaches, has an abundance of charm and would make an ideal base to explore.
Well worth a look when in Costa Rica. A great example of a well managed very clean town with lots of activities for those looking for experience or a place to hide and write your book.Written 23 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - K9TrainersAtlanta, GA188 contributionsWhen you read reviews, pay attention to the month. We arrived in January during the dry season. It may be different during the "green" season due to rain and runoff from the rivers.
This is a beautiful beach on the Golfo Dulce. It has a spot marked for swimming (protected from boat traffic) but we only saw one boat anywhere near the shore one time. Because it is in the Gulf, you can see the Pacific Ocean but the waves are very minimal. The water was clear enough to snorkel, but it didn't have a lot of reef fish around - so just enjoy the swimming.
The water is warm and there was almost no one on the beach. I saw no more than five people on the beach as far as I could see either way. In fact, we saw more scarlet macaws (a lot!) than people. A restaurant with restrooms is nearby and several lodges are on that road, so it isn't in the middle of nowhere.
We returned here almost every day to spend a few hours in the warm water and watch the wildlife. Heavenly stuff.Written 26 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Got to make our own chocolate (grinding and all). Enjoyed chocolate fondue with fresh fruit. And got chocolate facials! Nicole was a wonderful guide as was Aleida (one of the owners). We would highly recommend this experience!Written 22 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- jo mBournemouth, UK97 contributionsThis is a friendly welcoming store with locally made products. I bought some jewellery made with bird feathers, set -I think - in resin. There were also wooden and stone and painted art. Local food and drink included honey, chocolate, spicy relishes etc. lots of local affordable goods to support local producersWritten 5 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Geoff THouston, TX95 contributionsWent looking for it based on the Google maps location, but there's just a track leading off the dirt road, in a semi-cultivated area. Couldn't find a sign or a reception facility, and website not operational. Left us a little confused - maybe the location is wrong on Google Maps?Written 29 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Geronimo5121 contributionI truly felt gifted to come across Body mind Soul. I met with Dani two different times. The first experience was just amazing. I was more relaxed than I have been in years. The second time I saw her she worked on an old back injury, and was able to give me some relief I have not had in years. I highly recommend her services.Written 11 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
