Amazing trip to fly over Las Vegas Hoover Dam & Grand Canyon, understand distance to see all takes time & helicopter is slightly cramped with 6 passengers so can become a bit tedious but once in a live time experience.Kayaking in Grand Canyon with guide Amelia brilliant but was not told swimming was possible in the Colorado river once again a fantastic trip.

During our girls trip to Vegas one of our friends decided we needed more of a challenge so booked paddle boarding on the Colorado River. One of the guides, Reid picked us up at the hotel and it was about an hours drive to the River. I was nervous as I’d never done it before but the guys put totally at ease, there were only 3 of us paddle boarding so we had another guide, Matthew, to ourselves which was great as I had no clue what to expect. He was so patient with us and clearly an expert. What I didn’t expect was all the info the guys gave us about the area and the animals, it was like a guided tour of the region, fantastic. So friendly as well. I learnt so much. They gave us water and snacks and we took photos at breaks. Reid kindly let us put our stuff in his Kayak so we had cameras and suncream for our Delicate British skin lol Reid really made us laugh and told us so much about Old LV and Boulder City and all the wildlife during the car ride. Also enjoyed talking to him about his love of British food and “Soccer” Come on You Spurs!
Would definitely recommend you do this, if you are worried about fitness and aren’t confident then do Kayaking but you don’t need to be super fit to paddle board and I loved being so close to the water. I’m not that fit and I managed it, felt like such an achievement! Amazing day and will always be one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Thanks so much RiverDogz!
