Nature & Wildlife Areas
Temaiken is a foundation that studies, promotes and makes information available on the protection of Nature. It is based on three mainstays: RESEARCH, EDUCATION AND PRESERVATION. In order to carry out its mission of promoting the study, research, knowledge and communication of all matters related to flora and fauna, fostering a sense of respect for the preservation and restoration of the environment, Temaiken has: • A Biopark, located in the city of Belen de Escobar to communicate environmental issues and raise awareness on people, through entertainment and contact with nature. • A Natural Reserve in the Province of Misiones that works as a "biological shock absorber" for the Teyu Cuare Provincial Park, extending the protected area of the pristine rainforest. Temaiken also co-manages 2 Provincial Parks: Cruce Caballero and Araucarias, both part of the Pino Parana Forest ecosystem, also in the Province of Misiones. • Educational Programs for the purpose of "Educating to Preserve" Temaiken provides institutions with its educational programs adapted to school curricula and applicable to all levels of education: Initial, PEB, ESB, High School, Primary School, Secondary School and Special Education. This work is supplemented by Teachers Training Courses and activities with the communities located within the ecosystems under protection or to be protected. • Research and Preservation Programs. Various programs are carried out at the Foundation: Protected Areas, Endangered Species and Marine Biodiversity. These programs comprise the specific Preservation Projects aimed at achieving Temaiken's purpose: The Preservation of native species, particularly endangered species. • A Center for Reproduction of Species (CRET)where animal Rehabilitation and Reproduction programs are carried out, supporting both Preservation Programs and the authorities governing the illegal trafficking of animals. These programs focus on rehabilitating animals that are later returned to their habitat as part of various release and reintroduction programs.

We had a family meeting in Argentina. When traveling through Capilla del Monte, Los Terrones, was one of the most anticipated visits. Our guide was Lucia, who spoke from the heart, she was an amazing guide: knowledge + consciousness about maintaining the group as one. The experience was great, and we saw Condors! The most amazing place was the Uterus cave: the whole family had a very unique spiritual experience there! It is a unique place in the world!

We loved our day there. It is an hour away from Buenos Aires but well worth the drive. The park itself was excellent but our service at the customer service was absolutely outstanding. Due to a misunderstanding with our return taxi ride we were left stranded and Carolina at customer service along with another agent whose name I missed came to our rescue. They spent time with us helping us to contact our booking company and then arranging a replacement taxi. It was a great ending to a very good day. Thank you Carolina and co-worker.

You really don’t need an expensive tour from Buenos Aires. Just take the train from Retiro to Tigre(less than one USD for two return!). Then you can take an hour trip in a boat for 4,000 pesos. Then walk along the river to the Arts museum and the naval museum. Plenty of places to eat.

We went to La Plata just to visit this cathedral and it was worth it. We were bot aware that there was a museum and a lift that takes you several stores close to the top of the cathedral. That was quite impressive and interesting. If you have visited lots of this type of cathedrals in Europe you probably will not get the excitement but this not thst commonly find in LatinAmerica.

The church itself is impressive no doubt. But joining the official tour (@4:30 and 6:30) means you would have access to different corners and external corridors plus the rooftop of the church with stuffing views!! I highly recommend. The tour is ARS900 only and it’s about an hour long. You can request an English guide.

There are people who actually worship in here. We are of the view that such active cathedrals are not found everywhere. A better cleaning required

We had read about this gorgeous Basilica in Lujan. It was indeed truly magnificent. The town itself however was nothing special. The transportation museum across the plaza from the Basilica was quite interesting. We were not charged to enter. It is a shame it is so shabby I’m not kept up because it had some very interesting planes boats carriages and a train.

I thought I forgot to take photos during the tour because I was enjoying it. The guide was very informative and the collections were very special. The guide even took us to some rooms exclusive for their tours.

I had a pretty fun day at the aquarium, got to see a variety of animals and fish and birds. I really enjoyed the penguin display, not sure how many species, 4 maybe 5. I think kids would really enjoy
