Katerina's knowledge and experience was remarkable truly made the entire tour not only a memorable and breathtaking experience but a learning one as well!

The guide, Anna was super good, the driver Thomas, very good driver and very polite and kind. The tour was very well organized, fantastic value as it included transportation, hotel, dinner and breakfast, entrance to Delphi, the museum, two meteora Monasteries.
The only downside is that when you take big buses they have to park in places where they fit, on the way so they stop at places where other huge buses are, and so there is an endless line for toilet, for drinks and food- which of course are overpriced. It is the trade off for the rest. Meteora : impressive and one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. Spectacular views, interesting visits to three monasteries and Katerina was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and significance of it all. Far exceeded my expectations. It was interesting to find out about the story of documentary project about the holy trinity monastery, that turned out the be a James Bond -film. 🩷 Very pleased 🩷 And Kalampaka is a lovely village. Springtime is the excellent time to visit Meteora. Not too crowded place. Our guide Dimitra was knowledgeable, professional and kept us on track with the schedule. The bus driver was very capable. The hotels were in beautiful locations, clean and comfortable. Meals were exceptional and traditionally classic to the region. The ancient destinations we visited were remarkable. Great trip for history, mythology or just plain curious people. - Mallory W4 contributionsMy son and I were recently part of a two day (one night stay) tour with Meteora Thrones and we had a fabulous experience! The bus ride was comfortable though understandably long (4 and 1/2 hours) which is why we opted to spend the night in the pretty village of Kalambaka.
We went on the sunset tour on the day we arrived and a hiking tour the next morning. Our guide for the sunset tour was Maria who was both very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area and the monasteries. The following morning, Giannis guided out mildly challenging hike through the oak forest and rock outcroppings of the area. We saw the monasteries from a distance, the incredible geological features and even went into a hermit cave. Giannis explained details about the area and its history with authority.
