This tour was well organised, good basic English comms beforehand, worked like clockwork, trip as described, everyone saw turtles. Recommend take your own snorkelling gear. No amenities on the island but this is as advertised.
A great day out. Highlight of our Noumea experience.

We pre booked on line for return bus transfers from Tontouta airport to our Noumea hotel. All worked well, even though our inbound flight was 4 hours late, the buses were ready and waiting. Comfortable airconditioned bus, will use this transfer option next time.

My husband, daughter and I did the tour on a cruise stopover. I booked/paid for tour from Brisbane and printed out the tickets to take with me. We got the bus from ship to ferry terminal, showed the tickets at Lyvai kiosk then walked along the water to wait under shade for the train and off we went. The lady guide was very informative and we enjoyed seeing the beaches and up into the hills for some fabulous views of the islands and out to sea. We made several stops to take photos then went through the city centre and back to the pick up point. The cost is less than half of the ship-organised tours, we paid roughly A$130 for 3 of us and the equivalent tour from the ship was close to A$300 (US$59pp). The ship tour is the yellow tchou tchou train which basically does the same route around Noumea. You are able to book tours at the ferry terminal but we booked at Lyvai.com online no problem. I would highly recommend this tour as a good introduction (2 hours) to Noumea and surrounds.

Highly recommend this charter! Our cruise stopped in Noumea for the day, as the ship tours were fully booked I emailed this company. So pleased we had an awesome day, dolphins, sea cow, turtles and reef sharks!! Walking knee deep in the sea with turtles swimming past. Lunch provided on request with wine, beer, soft drink & water. They couldn't have done more for us!! 👏👏

    Very informative and interesting.
Would have been nicer to have it longer, covering lots more areas.

Very disappointed...we know times are tough but we wanted information about Nounea....New Caledonia...and the Kanaks...did not happen....all our questions had minimal information provided...places were closed and we were still taken there? Plus Gaetan spent a lot of time on his phone booking more trips....he needs to update his information about the country ..and look after the people in his cab at the time...we have done a lot of private tours around the world....this was the worst we experienced....

Gaetan saved me! I had idiotically booked a transfer with a company that no longer existed (thanks to trip advisor not having removed the company when they ceased operations). The amazing staff at Chateau Royal was able to arrange a transfer at the last minute with Gaetan and I’m safely on the way to the airport now. That’s what I call the excellent service. Highly recommended.

Buses started from the cruise terminal & followed the coastal roads along the beaches which had lots of spots to try out the blue, blue water. Two cruise ships were in town so thousands of tourists but the buses handled the crowds.
All the bus stops were at key places but some were disappointed when the Aquarium was closed on Mondays.
My onlly critique was that I wanted to visit Chateau Royale where I worked on a convention in 1975 but the bus turned back well short of that hotel. As I have a mobility handicap it was too hard to walk the rest of the way.

Better than we expected. Snorkelling is great. We went for 4 hours and I think going early in morning the best before crowds. Water taxi on Anse Vatu beach next to big yellow flag with Water Taxi sign. 1,500 for taxi return person. Option to buy chair package at Water Taxi stand for extra 1,000 person which i would recommend. Snorkelling hire is 1,100 but we always carry our own gear. It is a holiday! you can order food but bring your own water as there is no tap water (but water for sale). voluntary staff to explain stuff and please be mindful and do not stand or touch coral.
I would go again when back in Noumea.

Friendly service with a very good driver.
Delays at airport were not excessive and only a couple of stops so overall a great option for a reasonable price!

DO NOT BOOK! I should have checked these reviews before going ahead and booking - paid $40 and doesn’t look like they are operating. This is the last time I’ll be using Trip Advisor to book anything if they are not capable of managing / checking if companies are still operating. I will now have to chase my money.
