- Karissa M1 contributionFantastic tour, Miguel was awesome, very friendly and well educated about the history and geography of Portugal, the wet suits were nice and comfortable and the water shoes were very much appreciated, he also was kind enough to bring drinks and snacks along for the ride which was very much appreciated, he took lots of photos for us and overall made for a beautiful afternoon kayaking/snorkeling/cliff jumping in the Atlantic Ocean! We truly had a blast and highly recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful scenic day trip! The views were amazing and I also learned quite a bit about the region and vegetation. The Tour Guide (Joao) was also incredibly kind and funny and helped everyone overcome their vertigo. The tour guide, captain, and crew were some of the kindest most welcoming people we met on our trip. The scenery was stunning, the paddleboarding was so fun, and the boat was gorgeous. At the end of the tour, my friends and I were sad to leave this wonderful experience with such lovely people. Having never done coasteering before this was a relative unknown for me, and being not the best with heights I had some trepidation at times, but the guides were really patient and understanding and encouraged my son and I throughout, which lead to a wonderful and memorable experience. They make sure everyone is taken care of, even in larger groups, and booking was flexible.
This tour in particular is absolutely gorgeous. It was a very good alternative even though the dolphin cruise was not operating due the weather conditions. Arrabida is a beautiful area with a rugged coastline and sweeping sand beaches. The views are spectacular even in poor weather. Sesimbra is a beautiful fishing town and the old village is delightful to stroll around. Stopped at Baclahoa Winery on the way back for a very unique wine tasting experience. Our guide, Nydia, was incredibly personable, kind, and knowledgeable, making the day even more special. We enjoyed a beautiful picnic on the beach, which was the perfect touch to the day. The views of Arrábida and Sesimbra were absolutely stunning – they are places you simply cannot miss when visiting the region. - Amy GReading, UK20 contributionsThis trip was well worth the money. The boat was really cool with seats you sit astride which gave a feeling of being very secure. There was only space for around 16 people so it felt very exclusive. It’s a fast boat so a lot of fun as we headed out to where the dolphins were. We were able to manoeuvre very well, compared to the bigger boats out there. We saw 3 lots of dolphins in different areas, including some baby ones. We also were taken really close into shore to see the natural rock formations and caves. And some beautiful beaches. Our guides were very knowledgeable about the dolphins and the area, pointing out lots along the coast. Their English was really good too. It was too chilly to swim but we didn’t feel that detracted at all. Highly recommend especially for families. They know the area very well, they offer super punctual pick-ups, they are super nice and very welcoming, in the end it feels like having 2 new friends. Book without hesitation, you won't regret it!
