- Mel WCumming, GA4 contributionsMy boyfriend took me to California wine country (which was a bucket list item) for my birthday. I wanted to visit my favorite winery, Merryvale. It was as magical as I thought it would be! We were greeted by a wonderful staff who took us to two special seats at the bar to do a tasting. Jonny Calderon was our wine educator and boy did he make it FUN as well as educational! We tasted everything from their most recent production to wines from "the library". Jonny even paired some of the wines with chocolate and walked us through the experience. We drank, we shopped and by the end of the day, we were welcomed to the Merryvale Family as wine club members. I can't say enough to thank each of the Merryvale staff members for making this one of the best birthdays ever. We cannot wait to come back!!!Written 7 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- steelcity872016Pittsburgh, PA11 contributionsWhat a surprise. Our visit to Pride Mountain Vineyards turned out to be the best winery visit on our recent visit to Napa. This is a hidden gem we hadn't heard of before but will certainly be returning. The drive up the mountain, which is a little crazy, is well woth it. The knowledge and passion of our tour/tasting guide, Jay, made the visit even more exceptional. The facility is impressive and the views are spectacular. HIghly recommned adding this to a list of wineries to visit.Written 24 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ana GLos Angeles, CA10 contributionsI booked the tour/tasting by mistake. It was nice to hear about the history of Walt/Hall wines and about the art pieces, etc. What made this a 5-star review was Ron. Ron is entertaining, passionate and funny. The interaction between Ron, Jeff and Isaac leads me to believe they enjoy working at Hall. It’s nice to see happy employees. Also, Ron did my tasting last year when I decided to become a member. Keep Ron!! I always look forward to my member tastings at Hall. The outdoor member area is such a nice, relaxing place to be.Written 18 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - traceyriddleLos Angeles, CA26 contributionsI think this is the best tasting experience in Napa, I love all the wines and food pairings. The team is very knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable. If you can only do one tasting this should be it.Written 19 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Pathfinder7631271 contributionWe recently had a group of 10 people attend a wine tasting and lunch hosted by Parallel. Adreinne was our host and was fantastic. I think our entire group ordered as the wine was fantastic. The food was a great compliment which included even a mozzarella cheese making station. Highly recommended!Written 7 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- TerrasTravelsLas Vegas, NV459 contributionsI would stop here just for one glass of wine and to roam the gardens and check out the house. It’s more about the view. The house is really cool! Reminds me of maybe a haunted place that should be in a movie. We read on a blog that if you had a military ID you got a free glass of wine, but when we got there, they said that that was not true, but they honored it for us when I showed them what I had read on a Napa Valley website. So that was very nice! When you walk up and through the back garden, there’s another tasting room in the back, and then you can walk all the way over to the house through the gardens which is cool. Don’t forget to take your videos and photos!Written 4 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ryan BAtlanta, GA900 contributionsI recently came here with a group of business colleagues after a meeting. I live in ATL and have been drinking Duckhorn for a while so it was great to see the winery and experience an amazing tasting. I wish I had the name of the gentleman who did the tasting because it was fantastic. We were able to sit outside on a brisk but sunny December day and he brought us all kinds of reds. I really enjoyed their Merlot and the red blend called Discussion was excellent! We also got charcuterie boards for the table and really enjoyed ourselves and didnt feel rushed at all. The grounds were beautiful as well and worth taking a walk. I liked it so much I became a member and sent a box home! Highly recommend this winery.Written 5 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Xiao Y1 contributionOur second visit at Rombauer. Nice vineyard with a view; picnic table with privacy; clean and beautiful ground. Most importantly, a team of friendly and helpful staffs. Parking attendants (Mark and Dan) both were so kind to us, they parked our car with care and took group pictures for us when we were ready to leave.
We stayed there for 2 hours to celebrate our friend Lily's birthday. She wants a tea party on her birthday.
Thank you, Rombauer, for allowing guests to bring outside food, we made Lily's birthday dream come true.
We will be back.
We love the Chardonnay too.Written 19 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Jason Moore is a self taught (although he is quick to credit mentors) winemaker from Dallas Texas. He is not a billionaire, he’s not operating out of a Howard Backen designed cathedral of a winery and he’s not perched atop Pritchard Hill on a perfect piece of land. What he is is a salt of the earth guy who wears every hat in his company, has cultivated relationships that allow him to source some of the absolute best fruit in Napa and Sonoma, and has used that fruit to make some of the best wines I’ve had. Jason has built MO from zero to where it is today, approximately 5,000 cases of as he puts it “too many wines”. I have recently been in a Pinot Noir phase, and as luck would have it Jason recently began making Pinot. While not his main focus, the two Pinots he shared w me (UV Laguna and Gap’s Crown) were exceptional, I am certain his other two from Silver Eagle and Bacigalupi are just as good. We then moved to his Antithesis blend which is as unique as his story, and it’s also a winner. I won’t tell the whole story, but I assure you you’ve never had a wine made like this before, and it is great. Next up were two 2019 single vineyard Cabernets, Edcora and Sage Ridge. These two wines, while being dense, powerful and rich, were also velvety smooth and elegant, light on their feet so to speak. Jason shared 5 wines with us and I would absolutely buy every single one. I don’t join wine clubs, I joined this one. Do yourself a favor and book a tasting, you won’t be disappointed.Written 6 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Robert G1 contributionWe had as our host Paul for "cheers for 50 years". He was tremendous with his insight on the regions that produced the wines, what we were tasting, and ideas on how the red(s) paired. He had great background for the wines/winery, and history behind the valley. Highly recommend.Written 5 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- AubreyCarbondale, CO49 contributionsBest wine tour of the whole trip! Phillip was extremely fun and passionate! Just great vibes the whole time! The caves are super cool and the wine was amazing! The best part was the Tator tots 🥔 and pizza 🍕 that were served with the last glass of wine! 🍷 They really complimented the taste! 👅 would recommend this winery to everyone going to Napa!Written 16 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - John SMillis, MA3 contributionsThe wines are spectacular, but Todd and Sarah make this tour amazing and unique in Napa. They are both the owners and magic behind the winery and gracious hosts. Todd is the farmer and winemaker. His passion for wine is obvious.
We did the tour that included barrel tasting in the cellars. It was well worth it.Written 26 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - H. T. VaughtSacramento, CA3 contributionsMust see and highly Recommended. Amizetta is incredibly unique - even for Napa! The views are incredible, the staff are wonderful and friendly, and the wine is fantastic. I'm always researching the best wineries in Napa and this place should be on everyone's must-see list. Roscoe made the experience delightful. Even though we went on a rainy day - this place is special regardless of the weather! So glad we went!Written 3 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
