Red Rocks Amphitheatre was an experience that encompassed years of anticipation. We witnessed three nights of amazing music, camaraderie, joy and overall euphoria. The venue inspired natures creation transformed into a once in a lifetime collection of memories. We witnessed sparkling stars, a full moon and city lights in the distance. The initial climb posed some challenges, but once inside the venue, it was breathtaking beyond words. Highly recommend.

Dino Ridge was really interesting and I’m glad that we went.

We started at the gift shop, my son spent some time in the dino dig area (which he loved), and then we started off for the free 1 mile walk to the tracks (and other dino related spots).

To note, we went in late June and it was sunny. It was HOT and dry. Definitely put on sunscreen and/or a hat and/or whatever other sun protection you use.

There are little sites along the way about geology and fossils. The showcase is the large footprints area (which is really cool). There are also benches and shade for those that want to hang and/or rest. The other sitses are worth it too (bone fossils, other types of tracks, ancient beach remnants, etc).

Really cool place to check out if you don’t mind a walk and like geology/prehistoric history.

This was a nice trail near Red Rocks. You follow the creek and enjoy some nice scenery. Very busy. Easy for kids and dogs.

Nice hike! After 13 hours in the car, we needed movement and found this hike. It was a fun one. We went around 5pm and saw some wildlife (black tail deer and elk). The lookouts are nice and the castle ruins are neat to see. Worth venturing to experience.

Our children, 2 and 4, love Tiny Town. Riding and watching the miniature train is the highlight, but the many miniature stores and houses are fun to explore. At the end of the day our son enjoyed watching the steam engine go into the roundhouse for the night. The circular train route crosses a pretty creek, though access to the creek is currently prohibited. The kids can enter some of the buildings from the back and peek out the windows. (Great photos.) The modern play structures are standard, but they add to a package that makes this a fun visit for kids. A good lunch place is at the far end of the parking lot. The main drawback is that many of the tiny buildings have become dilapidated, probably reflecting Tiny Town's many difficult periods over the past 100 years, but the kids hardly noticed that. (Maybe they should start an adopt-a-building program.) The track and train appear to be well-maintained. It is hard to separate this review from a sentimental cheer for Tiny Town to draw enough ongoing traffic to stay open. Many persons have worked hard, over decades, to preserve it.

This museum is an amazing fun super awesome time! The tour guides are very knowledgeable, passionate, and adorable by making the history come alive, telling amazing facts, and sharing secret insights into these wonderful creatures. A fun place to visit, with life-like displays, and great stories of how life was like long ago.

I highly recommend scheduling a tour and being transported back to a different time.

The space is awesome, the artifacts and incredible, and the tour guides and staff are very friendly.

We found plenty of parking out front.

The museum volunteers, staff, and tour guides really enjoy their jobs and are most excited about their work and provide super cute tours and stories.

Tip: From Denver recommend taking South 285 and exiting on highway 8 going north past The Fort and to the museum. If you take Morrison Road from C470 you will go through the main street of town which is really crowded on the weekends.

Although the town of Morrison is cute it can be hectic on the weekends. where parking is hard to find and you have to pay. Recommend going on weekday to visit the town, the shops and restaurants.

Go to the museum any day. Parking is free at the museum. The weekdays are always going to be less crowed anywhere.

my family and i went (ages 19 and up) and we all enjoyed it! when you show up, you wait in lanes and they are all facing the event as a whole. so while you wait (20 min for us), you get to watch the lights along with the choreographed christmas music. they give you a station to tune to when you get there. we enjoyed it for sure. it was pretty neat. kids would probably LOVE it! we hit a couple of houses on the way there that had a lot of lights and made a whole night out of it. i would recommend!

We attended a wedding here many years ago and found it a beautiful place for such and event, there were elk in the parking lot.
BUT, sadly - it is now a runners store.

We happened to find this awesome trail by chance, and I'm so glad we did. It was a fairly decent hike up (especially in the snow) with beautiful views at the top. I can't wait to see what this place looks like in the summer.

Just FYI, if you don't have Yak Trax or anything like that, I'd get a pair before attempting this when its a bit snowy. Snow shoes might be overkill though.

I can remember seeing some guy named John Denver on a low budget Saturday music show when I was very young and thinking he had a nice voice but funny looking! Of course shortly he was a mega-hit and everywhere. I got to see him once in concert--and he was great. Red Rocks was one of his "homes"--so seeing the statue is pretty cool.

Our experience was good, however the after effects were not. We went through this last night. It took us about 30 minutes to weave through the course. Do build in time to wait in a short line before your car can go through. Once you are in, you can't get out (it's a stream of cars following a narrow lit path. The lights are very fun, they are synched to music which was really enjoyable. The grandkids loved it! That being said, those with a history or seizures or migraines should be cautious. This is not a gentle twinkling, dancing light show. Many have a strobe type effect, at times aggressively so. It's great if you aren't sensitive to these types of lights, not so much if you are.

Shelby our guide was the best. This was our highlight of a trip to Colorado. Though the water was low, Shelby was able to give us a great experience including twists and spins while keeping us moving and safe. We got poured on but loved it. Highly recommend for beginners looking to experience rafting.

My son loves go-karts so we have been to many different go-cart tracks. This one has been the best hands down. This karts are well taken care of and the track was great.

Close to Denver and easy to get to. They offer a variety of boats for different watersports. I had a slalom set and the water was warmer than I thought and very flat. I will visit again since it is a great place to practice and improve your skills.

Amazing customer service! It was a Tuesday and I was in need of a middle fin before I left out of town with my paddle board on a trip. Even though the shop was closed, the owner Mindy answered her work phone and offered to open the store up and sell me the fin. This was not an expensive item; she just wanted to make sure I had what I needed for my trip. Unbelievable customer service! Will be my paddle board shop going forward!! Thank you !!!
