Chotanikara Temple is a major pilgrimage center located near to Kochi. The deity is known as Rajarajeswari (Mother Goddess) and is worshipped here in three forms - Goddess Saraswathy in the morning, Goddess Lakshmi at noon and Goddess Durga in the evening.

I Prefer Puthuvype Beach to Fort Kochi beach because it is easily accessible from high court junction. The drive from there to the beach takes about 15 minutes for crossing the Goshree bridges and on the way we can see Bolghatty Island, Vypin fishing harbor, Vallarpadom Container Terminal etc. The beach is not very crowded even on holidays and I like to watch the sunset from here. The Puthuvype (Vypin) Light House, Kuzhipilly beach etc are nearby attractions. Nice beach to spend some time on off days.

Bhoothathankettu is a dam in Ernakulam district , about 10 km away from the town of Kothamangalam and 50 km away from the main city of Kochi. There is a paved walk way parallel to the river. There is not much rush when I visited this place mainly due to Covid situation. Ample parking space is there. There is also a restaurant near the entrance. Speed boat facility is available. You can find many scenic spots along the way. A children's park is also there. There is a also a watch tower from where we can see a scenic view of the entire locality.
The dam is located nearby to the legendary Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary at Thattekkad.

Small, quaint, old and simple... we were told that its a miracle church... i must say the approach and settings reminds me of temples in South India... probbaly because this is one of the oldest churches it is built on the same lines as a temple.. worth a visit if you are driving past

It's nice place to visit with friends and families! Well built pathways for a leisurely stroll , views are great from everywhere. You can see many automated fishing nets.

Spent the evening of 21st February 2020 (Friday) in the RamaKrishna Math. We always pay a visit to local Ramakrishna Mission Math, wherever we go.

The atmosphosphere here is serene and found this centre conducts many courses for the local people.

The courses on Personality Development (For Children) and Discourses on Spiritual Development are currently being run on Sundays.

It is a lovely church with a nice view both from the outside and inside. The grotto on the right sde of the entrance is unique and strikingly eye catching. The large flag post in the front like in Hindu temples is sort of a Kerala speciality. Unlike other popular places of worship, the complex has a large parking area.
