My 18yo son and I walked around the white and red trails at the nearby nature center. The trails are quite hilly and usually wide enough for us to walk side by side. Next time, we might add the yellow trail to get a couple more miles in our walk. Most of the walk was within the woods and so was shaded. There was a little breeze so I didn't sweat too much despite the hills.
We saw a couple deer and a few other people, some with dogs, who are required to be on a leash.
There is a nature center with restrooms, though we didn't use them, so I am not sure if they were open. There are some picnic tables and a playground for small kids.
A community garden is on the property as well as bee hives and some historical placards near the center.

This is the Ultimate in play areas for kids. It sets a standard none other can match. We could take our grandkids there every day and they would never tire of it. Management is awesome. It's clean, and fun and clean fun. Take snacks or lunch, there are areas in which to eat. Parents can join in to slide and jump with your kids. Love this place.

Have used this stand for my fruits vegetables for years. Great service and the freshest produce. Always sad when it closes for the winter. Many items you can't get anyplace else.

Beaver Dam Swim Club is part of the historical quarrying in this section of North Central Baltimore County. The lake is peaceful and wide and surrounded by well-kept and landscaped lawns. Picnic tables abound. A great place to relax.

We had never attended a dinner theater so did not know what to expect, but we all had a nice time.

The buffet food was great. Lots of choices (especially since I am gluten-free!) to eat and even a meat carving station. My kids went back for seconds! Desserts were decent and made everyone happy.

The play was interesting because it was not the expected Disney version. We also did not realize our waiters/waitresses were going to be the actors-quite a surprise for us! The group did a great job, but if you are expecting professional level this is not it. There were several of high school kids who did very well. This is similar to community theater which we enjoy going to as well.

The one thing that threw us off was expected gratuity after the meal. We just didn't think about it and had to quickly Google dinner theater gratuity (10-15% of total cost by the way) Next time we will be prepared

We would attend again as the kids had a great time!
